Ch. 6- Control: the battle begins

Grayson's POV

Me and drake left my old cabin and started walking. We had talked form an hour straight. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going and walked straight into a tree. Drake started laughing.

"Oww that's not funny! That hurt! Why didn't you tell me that there was a tree there?" I glared at him trying to hold back laughter. I smiled until I burst out laughing. "Well I saw it and.......ugh...sorry...well I thought it would be funny to see if you would walk into it." Drake smiled which faded as he put his hand up to his head. He stopped laughing and mumbled to himself. The only words I could make out where stupid headache, go away, not now, and stop it i ain't playing games........

'Is he talking to someone?' I look around no one is here. "Drake?" I ask cautiously. He suddenly clutched his head tighter and closed his eyes. He fell on his knees."Drake!" I ran over to him to help him up. I offered him water but he pushed it away. I got him to his feet when he suddenly pushed me away. I stumbled backwards confused. "Grayson I'm sorry....."

"Sorry for what?"  I didn't need him to answer when he suddenly looked up at me with an unsettling grin. His white eye was also glowing. I stepped back and took out my sword. I still had the firery sword which was the only thing that could hurt or kill Herobrine.

"Drake!....Let him go!" I glared at him. I was about to say something until something came running and knocked drake off his feet.

"Drake!" I heard a female voice scream. 'Mia! Oh no'

Mia! Wait get away from him!" I screamed at her. She turned to me confused. See noticed my sword and look to drake and screamed. Drake grabbed Mia by her neck almost choking her and grinned before he threw her against a tree. She hit the ground and looked at me. "Drake snap out of it! I know you can hear me. Please!" I refused to let the demon take away another friend, another part of my family. He disappeared. "Where did he go? " Mia stood up now. I then felt a pair of hands grab me and shove me against a tree and a sword was at my neck. 

"What's wrong, you scared? How about we play a game?" A dark voice mixed with what sounded like drakes voice sent shivers up my spine. "Grayson? What's going on! " Mia was frightened. I saw her slowly walk over. Drake didn't seem to notice her when she suddenly punched drake in the back of the head rendering him unconscious. "Mia!" I hugged her. She was scared and confused. I could feel her shaking. I looked down to drake. Kneeling next to him I knew that he was going to be ok. I looked at Mia and she had tears in her eyes.

Mia's POV

Pain shot through my back as I made contact with the tree. I could hear drake say something to Grayson as he had him pinned against a tree. The voice that came out wasn't drakes voice though. It was a dark and demonic voice mixed with drakes voice. I just reacted in fear. I had not idea what was happening to drake. 'Was it possession? Grayson told me about how drake lost control one time and almost killed him. This was not drake. It was the demon!' I told myself to keep myself from holding back. I swung at drakes head. Hitting the back of it twice. I managed to knock him out. Grayson look at me shocked and surprised with some confusion mixed int here. "Mia!" He hugged me. "I'm so glad to see you guys!" I  said as I started shaking. "What did I do?" I looked at drake. Grayson kneeled next to him. He was breathing and had a steady pulse. Grayson looked up at me letting me know he'll be ok. I was still shaking.

15 minutes later

"What happened to drake? Why did he do that?" I  looked at him. Grayson had made a fire and brought drake closer to it and put a blanket over him I had brought with me from the inn.

"That wasn't drake. You know that it was the demon right? He made drake do it whether or not drake wanted to. I thought that this stuff was going to stop. Mia, we need to stay together ok. I don't know how to tell you this but somehow I talked to Armen after coming through the portal. He mentioned that He is still out there and looking for drake. I think he found him. I'm not sure..." Grayson looked at drake. A concerned friend. At the mention of Armen's name he looked saddened. A friend who was family, lost, but now free from the demon that took over and took away his life. I felt sad at the thought too. I may not of known Armen but he was family to Drake and Grayson so I felt bad for them.

"LEAVE ME ALONE YOU DEMON!" Drake screamed as he grabbed his head still asleep until his eyes shot open. Grayson jumped as the sudden scream from drake startled him.

"MAKE IT STOP"  Drake started screaming.

"I WILL KILL YOU" He let out this high pitched screech that didn't sound human, it sounded more like an enderman.

"GET OUT IF MY HEAD"
