A New Beginning

Chapter Two Goodbye Liam

(Y/N) POV

"Rise and shine sleepy head" Jack joked. I sat up in shock "Where are my brothers?" I questioned him quickly. "They took them to the place where every seems to be moving on except me" he pouted. "No time for jokes Snowflake we need to get to them now" I ordered. He rolled his eyes "Fine but hold on and I hope your not afraid of heights". "It all depends on how high and how fast" I warned. Peter may have helped me with my fear of heights but it was still there and will always be there. Jack picked me up gently and I wrapped my arms around his neck "Don't drop me" I pleaded. "I wouldn't dream of doing" he smirked before taking off into the sky and to my brothers.

He placed me down and we watched as both my brothers were on the edge of either a life time of pain in the hot depths below or moving on. The men from earlier where spread out and their leader was in front of my brothers; forcing them to move. Suddenly blue smoke appeared and Hades stepped out "Is someone having a party and forget to invite me?" He questioned the leader who turned to face him. "No lord Hades" the once tough leader told him. Hades blew a small puff of air and the man flew off into the fire. "And now the brothers Jones" Hades said as he slowly approached them "One of you kept up his end of the bargain and gets to live. While the other escaped my dungeon and for that he has to pay". "No!" I cried as I ran over to Hades "We have a deal". "What deal?" Killian questioned. Hades smirked and turned to me "Oh that's right we do" he glanced back at my brothers then back at me "and you haven't told them?". "What did you promise him (Y\N)?" Killian asked sternly. "She promised to stay down here with me once she gave you her heart" Hades explained before I could even open my mouth. Killian looked at me with eyes that show such anger and hatred towards what I had done. "A deal is a deal so I guess I have to keep you in tip top shape" Hades sighed. "No I won't let you hurt any of them" Liam told him "no matter what kind of deal we made". "Fine" Hades turned to him "Have it your way" and with that he blew a puff of air sending Liam flying over Lillian's head and into the flames. Luckily Killian caught him before he could fall into the pit of flames "Liam please hang on" he told him. "I'm sorry brother" Liam told him "Can you forgive me for what I have done?". "Yes" Killian told him "but that's not what's important. You need to find a way to forgive yourself". "I can't" Liam admitted "Not after what I did to you. The only way to make amends is for me to pay the price". "No" Killian and I said at the same time. "No Liam!" Killian cried as he slipped from his fingers and down into the flames. Tears slipped down my face as I watched my brother fall.

Suddenly a ray of light came from the middle of the cave in front of Killian. Everyone looked in shock including Hades. The fog cleared to show an ocean and a boat in it. "What's happening?" Killian questioned. "You will pay for this" Hades told him angrily and disappeared into a blue flame. I turned away from Hades as he vanished and looked back forward to see my brother, Liam, standing on a small boat. I ran over to Killian he stood up and looked at Liam. "Your safe" Killian smiled. "Yes" Liam stated as he checked over himself "it appears I am. I suppose this is the sacrifice I would have made long ago" he said as the boat sailed over to us "and now I shall go". "Then go" my one handed brother told him "all of you" he told the men that were still standing confusedly behind us "Now you finally know the truth your unfinished business is complete as well". "Get on board men" I smiled as they all hurried to get onto the boat that Killian held still for them. The all scurried in and sat themselves down. "What about you brother?" He asked Killian even though he knew the answer. "My unfinished business isn't done yet" he told him and turned to me with eyes that were still sad "not until Emma and I have defeated Hades". Liam nodded and then turned to me "(Y\N) it has been an honour to see you again and look at how you have grown" he smiled proudly "Your as strong as we had hoped but please don't make deals with the devil I already know what bad things come of it. After all things do happen for a reason and I don't believe that your story is going to be over anytime soon" he smiled at me then turned to his brother "Tell Emma I'm sorry and I was wrong. She does want what's best for you and don't worry about reaching that bar anymore Killian you've become a true hero in a way I never could" he then raised his hands up; both me and Killian held his hand in a way to say goodbye. "Good bye brother" Killian told him. "Goodbye Liam" a small tear slipped from my eye as my hand slowly left his as the boat took him away.

After my brothers depart we left to go back to the house where Killian ran off to find Emma. "So how are you after your brother leaving to the other side?" Jack questioned as he landed next to me and leaned on his staff. "Sad, happy" I shrugged "He's in a better place with my parents". "I'm surprised your brother forgot about your deal with Hades" he muttered. "That's a good thing though" I told him "Hopefully he forgets so it will be easier for me to go through with it. I don't want him to be giving me a pep talk right now". He hummed in response and made a small blizzard of snow fall over me. I looked up and smiled as the snow fell over me "Thank you" he tilted his head at me "This has made me feel a bit better". "In that case" he smirked "Your most welcome". After the stress of today I don't thing anything could make it worse. Soon I will save my brother and he will be able to return to the world above. However the more I think about it the more it saddens me. A life for a life and by taking that life will I break the hearts of my brother and me soon to be husband. Soon my life will forever come to an end and there is nothing I can do to stop it...
