(Y/N) POV

The months flew by, inching towards my due date. I could see the fear and worry in, Peter, everyday. He never left my side, refused to leave me alone or allow me to do anything. I was a sitting duck, like I was gonna drop dead at any moment. Golds words scared him, to be honest they scared the hell out of me, but knowing my child was safe and well was the only thing getting me by. Even if it will kill me, knowing I had created something so beautiful was enough for me.

The only time, Peter, let me out of his sight was when I went to see my brother. Although he walked me all the way there and only left me when my brother met me on the dock of his ship. I had to tell him about Gold being my real father, leaving out the part where he attempted to murder my child, since I know full well he'd attempt to kill him for it.

"So your telling me the crocodile is your real father?" He looked astonished, disappointed even "I always wondered where you came from, mother was as skinny as a twig and then suddenly you appeared in our family" he sighed, holding onto my hand he spoke softly "No matter where you came from or who your real parents are, you will always be my sister. Nothing will ever change that"

I hadn't seen Gold once since the incident, he seemed to have gone into hiding in his shop. The shop had been closed ever since. Whether he was afraid to face me or afraid to lose me. I honestly don't know, but to me he wasn't a real father. He meant well, but what he did was truly despicable and can't be forgiven.

I now look like one of them balloon things. With only one month left to go, I feel heavy, tired and ready to explode. Only myself, Peter and Gold knew about the whole possible death predicament. I didn't have the heart to tell anyone, especially my brother. He had become so excited about it, buying so many presents for the baby, giving name ideas and planning things for the future. I couldn't take that way from him. On the other hand, Peter, no matter how many times I told him to, wasn't enjoy himself. He was too panicked, he's been having nightmare, most nights - it was keeping him awake and keeping his mind wondering. However, these might be my final months with him - I wish he would just enjoy the time we have together and not expect the worst.

"Come on, love stop writing in your little book" a voice purred in my ear "I have something to show you" without warning he had pulled me up and carefully pushed me out the door and down the street. He didn't say a word as we walked, occasionally looking back and smiling a smile I hadn't seen in a while.

"Peter, what's going on?" I laughed. He didn't answer and only stopping and turning to face me. "No peaking" he ordered and blind folded me with a green scarf he'd been wearing. Everything went black, I could feel him gently tugged me down the street, turning me around and then up some steps. I had completely lost my bearing now. Still not clue as to what he was up to, but I could feel his excitement. For the first time in a while, he was happy.

I heard him open a door and then stop as he ushered me in. His breath was on my neck and the scarf came loose. As the light hit my eyes, a loud commotion erupted around me causing me to take a step back into Peter, who steadied me. Once I caught my bearings I could see everyone's smiling faces as they shouted surprise.

"What is all this?" I asked as my brother came forward, taking my hand and pulling me into the crowd. Food had been set out across a long table and a pile of presents sat in the corner of the room.

"It's a party for you and the little munchkin you have growing" Killian smiled "Emma said it's called a baby shower, which I find unusual because a shower is not involved, but hey everyone has brought gifts and Granny set out a bunch of different food" he explained as he reached over, grabbing a cake and shovelling it into his mouth. He gave me a gentle, but tight hug before wondering off and speaking to Peter. Over the months he'd warmed up to him, treating him more like family than enemy.

I was greeted by multiple different people, all asking about myself and the baby. Mainly the woman asked to touch the bump, hoping to feel a little kick. The only person to feel the baby kick apart from myself was Peter. He would talk to it a lot, even through the stress and worry feeling the baby kick momentarily brought a little excitement to him until he remembered the warning.

But I'm this moment I looked at everyone, happy and excited. Family and friends, enjoying themselves and having fun. I could never have wished for a better group of people in my life. And I know that if the day comes where I can't be with them, that they will be there for my child and for Peter.

Time seemed to stop as I felt a strange sensation rush through my body. A rush of pain suddenly hit me and the only person who notice or sensed my discomfort was Peter who was with me in seconds. He looked at me with a concerned expression as he bellowed something behind him. My whole body felt like it had gone into shock, I felt numb; unable to stand. Peter used all the strength he had to carry me out the cafe and into Emma's yellow beast thing. The world spun so fast and all I could hear was panicked voices, mainly Peter and he tried to keep me from falling into the dark ibis that slowly began to fill my vision. The blurry faces and blinding lights are the last things I remember before the darkness finally took me.

Peters POV

"Can this thing go any faster" I shouted at the blond woman who attempts to stay calm were failing as she looked to Hook for help.

"Just keep her awake, we will get there as soon as we can" he glanced back at his sister with only worry in his eyes "Is this normal?" He questioned the woman "I've never dealt with a pregnant woman before"

Emma glanced at him before replying "Woman react differently to being in labour, she will be find we just need to get to the hospital in case of any complication" she assure us both. Little did she know of the warning we had from Gold.

I tried to compose myself, I had made a promise to not tell anyone our secret of the warning. I was already panicked and if everyone was to panic I don't know how I'd cope. I just kept telling myself she was going to make it and her dizziness was due to being in labour. The minute felt like hours until we arrived at the hospital. I immediately kicked the door open and carried her through to the waiting room.

"I need a doctor here now before I start ripping heads off" I yelled, causing many concerned looks, but who was I to care.

"What he means is we have a woman in labour who need immediate care please" Emma "corrected" me, and with that people ran over with a bed on wheels. I gently placed her down and she was taken away with me close behind. Until they took her into a room.

"I'm sorry sir but we can't have anyone going in here, you'll have to wait outside" a woman told me before going in and closing the doors.

I reluctantly sat down beside and Hook and Emma. Waiting for any news of (Y\N) or the baby. But time slowed and the agonising wait began.
