Chapter 8: The Second Piece

~This chapter is a little long, but that just makes waiting a little while for a new part worth it or whatever. :))) I had a bunch of songs for this chapter, but alas I could only pick one. Light My Fire by The Doors seemed too cliche and I See Fire by Ed Sheeran didn't really go with it, however, they're both great songs that can be found by quick trip to youtube *wink wink endorsement wink* -Z~

Chapter 8: The Second Piece

Your parents were overjoyed that you had made new friends, and allowed you to leave without a second thought.

They're probably sick of me being such a loser loner.

You went back up to your room and found Bill snooping through your drawers. You sat down on your bed, pulling on your socks and shoes.

"What are you looking for, Cipher?"

"Just looking," he said nonchalantly.

"Invading my privacy," you corrected.

"Kid, I read minds, do you really think I care about people's privacy? Ooo what is this? A diary? Nope, just school notes, lame."

"You sound a little too upset about that." You stood up. "Alright, I'm ready. Should I bring a coat, or what? Are we going to have spacesuits to breathe, or something magical and cool," you asked excitedly.-

"I've decided that we're only going to planets suitable for humans to survive until I find a way to keep us alive on other more erratic planets."

"I'll put on a sweatshirt."

He picked up a doll you had made a few years ago that was stuffed in a bottom drawer, as you pulled your arms into a grey sweatshirt.

"You do a lot of arts and crafts, kid."

"I've always been kind of a hermit, what do you expect me to do with my free time?" You took the doll from his hands. "This is pretty terrifying, I will admit."

"Wait, are these drawings of me in a dress!?"

"Heh, they are. You weren't supposed to see those horrible drawings." You blushed and tried to take it away from him, but he held it out of your reach. "I had an idea the other day... It was supposed to be funny, but my drawing skills are terrible."

"You didn't even get my eye right."

"So are we- can we like go. You were so pushy about leaving earlier."

"The drawers held some captivating secrets."

"Alright, well you can finish invading my privacy another time, let's go."

"Eager are we?"

"I want to try to be home for dinner."

"We can aim for then, but no promises."

"How are we getting there? Do you have a spaceship or something?"

"Kid, I'm Bill Freaking Cipher, did you just ask if I travel by spaceship?"

"Maybe..."

"No, we're traveling by teleportation, of course."

He cracked his knuckles.

"Okay, get ready. Tie your hair back, and make sure nothing can easily fly off your person," he instructed.

You pulled your hair back and zipped up your sweatshirt.

"Open your mouth, and stick out your tongue."

"What? Why?"

"Just listen to me, you'll regret it later if you don't."
