You groaned in frustration when again the forceful landing threw you to the ground. Bill gracefully landed on his feet.

"I forgot how beautiful teleporting through space is, but I did not forget how exhausting not being able to correctly land is!"

Bill just snickered at your predicament.

You ended up teleporting to the outskirts of a large city.

"We're going to have to walk around for a while so that I can ask a few questions and find the exact location of piece number three," Bill explained.

You started walking towards the center of the city. The buildings were all a brilliant sky blue and were incredibly bumpy.

"The buildings are made out of Parpheradium. It's similar to concrete, but it's 300 times and dissolves in salt water."

"That's awesome. Cipher, won't the Octopodians freak out when they see us. Aren't we aliens to them?"

Just then an Octopodian turned a corner and walked towards you. You stared at them wide eyed. Its skin was hot pink and walked on two tentacles while the rest hung at its sides. It was wearing dark clothes made of a shiny, rubber-like fabric.

"They look exactly like an Earth octopi! How is that even possible if they evolved on separate planets?!"

"It's just an anomaly of the universe, but I theorize that ancient Cornans brought ancestors of the Octopodians to Earth as a joke."

"So aliens definitely have been to Earth?!"

"Of course. The recent pathetic attempts at space travel by humans has caught the attention of a lot of species. That's also why that Octopodian didn't 'freak out' when they passed us. The sometimes make their way to Earth and, er, have relations with humans. That's probably where the idea for tentacle porn came from."

"What?"

"Nevermind, just stay close to me. Many other species visit this planet to trade and obtain Parpheradium. This is the only world that can make it. They also make excellent teas, and we're going to take a detour to buy some."

The streets became more populous as you walked closer to the center of the city. Some of the Octopodians you saw were a neon yellow color. They were generally smaller than the hot pink ones.

"The yellow ones are female, and the pink ones are male," Bill explained to you quietly.

You turned a corner, and an expansive marketplace appeared before you. You paused for a second, taking in the view as people pushed past you, some people cursing at you in a language you didn't understand.

Bill noticed that you weren't next to him and turned back to grab your arm and shuffle you along.

"Trust me; you do not want to wander away from me on this planet."

You walked arm in arm through the densely populated market area.

"This is the biggest city I've ever visited. I went to Portland once to bury my grandparents, but this place has to be three times larger."

"Four point eight times bigger than Portland, Oregon to be exact."

"How do you know that," you asked skeptically.

Bill just winked and continued leading you through the crowd.

"Cipher, everyone here is speaking a different language. How are we supposed to ask anyone for directions?"

"That's exactly where we're going, my dear," Bill pointed at a dark blue tent with an ear and mouth on the front and led you inside.

A female Octopodian came toward you and said something to Bill in a shrill voice. He stood behind you and put his hands on your shoulders.
