Only then I realized he had ended the call. I looked blank faced at the screen of my phone which read the late hour of 2.00 am, and I recalled what the heck had just happened, the strange tone he had, the time, the short call and that laugh, and then I texted him

You:

Jungkook are you okay?

Are you drunk?

Did you mean that seriously?

Like, seriously seriously?

Then I put back my phone and went back to bed, where Soo was sleeping

'I love you'

He said. I placed both of my hands on my warm cheeks looking at the ceiling in a state of daze, while his words just continued to replay in my brain again, and again, and again. I pulled the covers of the bed over my face, until I fell asleep. However I woke up pretty frequently that night, and I checked my phone each time, to see if he may had replied to my texts, which didn't happen until a lot later in the morning. I was in my room listening to some music but, as soon as I heard the rigtone of my texts I jumped in surprise, the phone almost dropping to the floor. I unlocked it, and opened the chat
