Remedy

Angels.

  It was past midnight, and she cupped her hands together, staring at the moonlight pouring inside her room's window draped with a dangling cherry-red curtain. She let herself out of the blankets, and headed next to her window, waiting for an answer. Her blonde hair was braided loose to the side, and her blue-emerald eyes were closed, as she she clenched her hands tightly around one another. It was just her inside the dark room, with the moonlight, waiting. Just waiting.

The moon glowed on her face, providing her hope to not give up on herself.

Dear Angel, please come. I am looking for an answer.

Suddenly, a figure appears on her window, knocking, and then disappears. She hears the voice whispering, "I'm here. I'm here..."

No figure, but a voice..

"Hello, are you there?" She pleads.

I am there, what is it that you are asking for? A soothing, compassionate, and still soul responds back to her..

Nothing, I just need your guidance. You see, I have so many blessings in my life, and I want to be able to express more gratitude and give my time to you for it. Everything is slowly coming back together, just how I wanted it, and it just makes me feel so alive.. I can never thank you enough. I want to be able to feel and repay you for these blessings to me. I fail everyday, what can I do to express to you how amazing you are and have you be happy with me? Right after every mistake I make, you surround me with your love and show me that there is always a reason to trust in you.

Nothing you do will ever make me further away from you, my friend. The further you get, the closer I come. You deserve so much more blessings. I heard all your prayers, wishes, and tears in the past, and this is where you have come now. Don't ever forget your past, and how it is an important part of shaping who you are tonight. I expect nothing from you, but just your time, because I want to help you grow, that is all. However, if you want to be closer to me and find your own worth, use your gifts. Yes, use it to express yourself and make a difference, and you will find a connection with me.

Aw thank you so much...but my gifts, how must I open them! I must open them! I have many not yet discovered all bottled up inside. It's time to explore beneath it all, you're right.

Of course. Everyone has a calling here on Earth. When things don't go in your own way, that is not my plan, it is part of the whole of shaping you. My plan is to help you prosper and grow for your future, and to bring all my people to peace by seeking me, and only me.

But.. what if I can't tell? What if I'm meant for many jobs? She ended up in tears.. Or what if I have to do only one job? ..

Can't tell what? If you want to do more than one thing, give it a try. We are all here to do what is best for us, so don't worry. Remember though, despite different callings, I do not look at who is most rich, popular, or smartest, but the hearts of others. Making a difference is not that hard, all we do is touch one another's hearts..and anyone can do that; from a mailman, to a neighbor, to a teacher, to a doctor. If you ever get the chance to do what is beyond, than do it, for each person doing whatever job they are, is working their hardest. Listen to this, once they're all in the grave, they're the same, for I know only the good they did. Therefore, I am here to guide you, and you have to listen and you will be surprised by how much capabilities and strength you receive from me.

Thank you, Thank you so much. I will continue exploring, and give with all I have. I will see the world differently than I used to, with how they're making a difference, but not how they are higher or lower.
