Setting: it's now 2017; our character is just turned 17, after the events of: Captain America 2 in 2014, Avengers 2 & Antman in 2015, and deadpool, Dr. Strange & Captain America 3 in 2016. The diner where the girl (Annie) has been staying and working at...

I've been staying at the diner for a while now; Mac is an awesome boss, after hours he helps me learn how to write and read and about the world. He says he's not the best teacher cause he doesn't have something called a degree, but he knows more than I do so...that's good enough for me. He's done so much for me since we first met and I'm so grateful...I wish I had a voice so I could tell him. He let me stay and work here for practice free; he made me a waitress after a year and then made me manager when he found out some of the younger male customers were "groping" me-whatever that means-Mac was so pissed, he wouldn't even explain it to me. Anyway, those guys never came back when they got a load of my eyes changing and Mac made me manager after that.

My hairs grown back out and Mac said it looks better log and wavy, so I left it; I've also learned about Mac... he's thirty, he was twenty six when I first met him, he had a girl friend. He dumped her when she accused him cheating on her with me and came storming in the diner one day pointing her finger at me and swearing at me. I still feel bad for ruining his relationship with her...anyway he caught me drawing once and said I was pretty good. He has me do them for kids when we get large birthday parties. I really like it here, but I'm still always on my guard; I can't get too comfortable, cause the moment I do is when I know things will go down hill...

"Fares!" One of waiters calls

"..."I look at him from where I'm standing out back behind the diner on break

"Costumer wants to speak with the manager," he says

"..." I sigh and give him my usual what about Mac look

"Mac went to meet with a supplier," he says

"..." I sigh...this should be fun

"They didn't seem upset," he says when I give him another look

"..." I approach the table with a fake smile and my eyes are brown from being tired

"Hello Subject 001," the man says

"..." my smile drops and my eyes turn white with worry

It's them...but how? How the hell did they find me? I start to slowly back away in fear as my eyes go purple; as I back away, I bang into someone...I turn to see who...it's...007! When did she get a metal arm? I need to get out of here...

"I think it's time you leave my diner," comes Mac's voice

"..." I stare over at him...is he crazy? They could kill him!

"Now," Mac says his green eyes flaring with anger

"Very well," the man says, "come 007," as he stands, "but we will be back for 001."

The moment they leave the diner, I collapse to my knees on the floor...they found me...I can't stay here anymore...Mac's in danger the longer I stay here. They hurt him just to get to me I know they would...

"Fares!" I try to get her attention, but nothing, "that's it; everybody out! We're closing early today!" I shout and start ushering people out the door apologizing and telling them that their next visit is on the house...I'll regret it later, but I'm more focused on Fares right now.

I send the staff home and lock up; when I finish, I find she hasn't moved from the floor other than moving into a quivering ball. I've never seen her like this; not once in the four years I've known her has this happened to her, she's clearly seen a lot of emotion horrors before we met, but in many ways she's also still a naïve and innocent child-I mean she didn't even know what a movie was when I first met her-I don't like seeing her like this, it hurts; she's like a younger sister to me...
