You should play the song "My Love" by Sia when I say so. It'll give the scene wayyyy more emotion, I promise xx

CHAPTER 3

            [Harry’s POV]

Okay, this will be the gayest thing I have said, and will ever say, but Niall looks pretty good today. I don’t know why but, all of a sudden, I feel a bit closer to Niall than I ever have with anyone. I mean, we are all best friends and everything, but Niall and I have a special bond. Ever since the X Factor house, we’ve been inseparable.

Now, all of a sudden, I have a change in feelings about him. I don’t know if it’s the fact that we’re stuck in a closet with no one else to socialize with or the whiskey. For the sake of our friendship, I’ll go with the latter.

While Niall was going on about something that I couldn’t focus on, I began to notice him more. The way his eye squints just a bit whenever he says something strange or funny. Or the fact that his lip curls up when he explains something difficult. His eyes are a shade of blue that not even Louis can pull off. Oh lord, I sound so gay. Let me stop please.

But when Niall said that he’d only ever kissed one girl, I’ll admit that I was shocked. Have these girls seen Niall?! He is gorgeous!

Okay, there I go again. Contain yourself, Harold.

“You forget that I had braces and a boyish pixie cut?” Niall smirked. I nodded.

“Touché.” I shrugged. “But still! You’re a ladies man, right?”

He rolled his eyes. He unfolded his legs down so that they were resting on the ground. He picked at the fabric on his shirt. “No, I am not a ‘ladies man’. I just want to find the right...person.” he sighed in a satisfied tone, resting his head back on the wall. He closed his eyes.

I cocked my head to the right, just gazing. He peeked open one eye and he immediately shut it, burying his face in his hands out of embarrassment. I started laughing at his cuteness. I grabbed his tiny hands and pulled them down. He stared at his lap, biting his lip. He looked away and I laughed quietly.

I pulled his chin and made him look at me. Then he raised one eyebrow and winked. “What is this peek-a-boo?” he asked.

I chuckled and I didn’t realize that my dimples were showing until he poked them. “Poke.”

I furrowed my eyebrows and poked his chest. His rather tough chest. Ew, what am I saying?! He’s my best friend! That’s it!

I need to stop this little poke flirty thing happening. I can’t let this get out of hand. Niall poked my stomach, expecting me to poke him back. I didn’t. He realized that the game was over when he noticed that my face had fallen to the floor in deep thought. Niall sat a bit straighter and cleared his throat. It must be THAT awkward. I usually wouldn’t know what it felt like since I’m always myself around him. Now, I’m starting to get what it’s like. And I don’t like it. Not one bit.
