CHAPTER 9

[Harry’s POV]

I already had a hangover. Hearing Simon and Oliver lecture me about the headlines this morning just made me even more aggravated. At one point, Niall noticed, so he squeezed my hand under the table.

The two men went on and on and on about how I can’t be seen at 2 in the morning going to clubs and how it’ll “jeopardize my career”. Well, I’m 19 and I can do whatever the hell I want. They may be our managers, but I’m my own person.

“-which is the other thing!” Oliver slammed his palm on the table. “You are at the peak of your career, Harry. Don’t screw this up now!”

I get that he is frustrated because pictures of me and Nadia were leaked. But, I’m frustrated that he doesn’t understand that I know I messed up. I just want him to shut up.

“Olly,” Simon spoke, trying to calm down his partner. “Let’s hear it from Harry himself.”

I sighed. Finally! Oliver sat down in his chair.

“I got angry and I needed space. I saw an opportunity to take my mind off things and I took it. I’m sorry and I can’t necessarily say that it won’t happen again because we all know I am a fuckup and that’s just what I do. Can I go now?” I spoke, rather quickly, trying to leave this damn room already. The other boys chuckled at my little outburst.

Oliver looked pissed. Before he could speak, Simon stood. “Yes, you all may leave.” He gestured towards the door, against Olly's wishes. “Thanks for talking about the tour gentlemen. We’ll keep in touch.”

We waved goodbye to Simon and Oliver and left Simon’s home. Since we’re back in London, we could go to our homes. Well, my mum’s house, since I don’t have one.

“I’ll call you boys when I reach Doncaster,” Louis waved as he got into his car. He was going up North to visit his mum and sisters. I think he’ll stay with them for a week or two before heading back to London. It’s a long drive for him, so he’s decided to take a tube.

Liam followed Zayn to his car. “Yeah, I’ll tell you once we get to Bradford.” Zayn called from his window. They’re both spending time with Zayn’s family. Since Liam’s parents moved to be closer to him in Bushbury, the boys are going to stay there a bit, before continuing the drive to Bradford up North.

“That leaves us.” I turned towards Niall. We hadn’t had a chance to drop off our luggage anywhere so we had them with us on the streets of London. Plus, we came in Liam’s car, so we were stuck with walking.

“Where do we go?” Niall shrugged. I shrugged in return and looked around. “Well, my family is in Cheshire. Which is quite the drive so do you want to just grab a hotel room and we’ll start our road trip tomorrow?” I suggested.
