Part XII I need a reason

Soba's POV
Maybe it was wrong of me to give her the suit, but I had to do something to catch her off guard. Was it too soon? Maybe I should have tried to win her over instead of just 'stealing' her. At the moment, we are in a carriage on our way back to my country, home. The carriage was fit for a king, but it only has two seats. One for me, and one for my mistress, Phoenix. Phoenix was laying down in her seat. She looked so peaceful sleeping. Although I wouldn't say she was sleeping, more like she was unconscious from the shock I gave her earlier. I had her chained up so she couldn't use her powers. Out of the corner of my eyes I saw Phoenix moving. She was about to wake up.
"Where are we?" Phoenix asked.
"We're going home." I responded like a winner.

Zen's POV
Why was this happening, why now? I ran through the halls of the castle. I finally ran into Mitsuhide and Kiki. "Kiki, Mitsuhide! It's urgent. Soba kid napped Shirayuki." I said frantically
"What? Why would he, we already decided that we had to go to his country for the tournament." Mitsuhide said confused.
"Zen, you should know that shirayuki loves you. As soon as she gets the chance I'm sure she'll return as soon as she can. She wont betray us. Besides, they couldn't have gone far."Kiki said as calmly as ever. "Lets head to her room where she was taken."
The three of us ran to Shirayuki's room. I noticed that the case that had her suit in was gone. One of the other mages must have taken it. Their probably long gone by now. Odd thing was, they didn't take her purse. She once told me that she had always had her bag, that it was given to her by someone special. It must have been her friend she so desperately wants to protect. "Her bag is here," I said calmly "she keeps all her personal items in it."
Kiki walked over to her bag and opened it up. "Hey you cant just go through her personal belongings like that!" Mitsuhide said. Kiki pulled something out. It was a jar of pills.
"Wouldn't she keep medicine in her medical bag?" Zen asked confused.
"There could be countless reasons she had these on her. It was probably just stress." Kiki said.

Kiki POV
If those pills are what I think they are, then things are about to get a whole lot more complicated for everyone.

Soba POV
"Can we pull over?" Shirayuki asked.
"What for?" I responded.
"I don't feel so good," Shirayuki said bluntly. Phoenix did not look well at all. So I believed her. When we pulled over, Phoenix bet over and threw up. "I'm so tired." Phoenix said quietly to herself.
"I recognize those symptoms, "Is it morning sickness?"I asked very seriously. Phoenix froze, she wouldn't even blink.

A/N
Hello everybody its that time again, time for another excuse for a late update. Well this time my excuse will be.... Lots of tests and exams at school, most of my time has been devoted to school the past few weeks, and if I don't keep my grades up I cant write fan fiction. Well one thing I wouldn't to talk about was the end of this story. Although it wont come anytime soon, I like to plan ahead (not really). But should the story end with a happily ever after??? I know that if it was my choice I would choose not to since I don't believe in happily ever afters but since this is for you guys, I wont you to choose. Well that's all for now.
