Part XV Escape

Shirayuki's POV

    Ive been in Vassness for a few days now. My time has been filled up with important people of this country coming to welcome me back home.

    I was tired of all the prefectures. They dressed me like a princess, treated me like a god, but nothing was able to satisfy me. Nothing would be able to satisfy me unless i was with Zen. I was wearing my suit, and i stepped out onto the balcony in my old room. The balcony overlooked the palace's garden. It was the most beautiful view in the kingdom.

    There was a knock at the door so i went to open it. At the door was King Soba, he said to me in an annoyed tone"The Wistalia's are here."

    I gave him a smile and asked "there is no tournament, is there?"

    "Of course not. I don't care about how other countries view me. I just needed to give you a reason to return. And to get Izana to come back." Soba responded to me.

    "Well, I should go and meet our guests, should i not." i said finally giving a genuine smile.

    "Go ahead." Soba responded and walked away.

    I got dressed. My hair turned into fire and it woove down my back until the fire turned to hair. I put my hair into a long ponytail that reached the floor. I walked towards the main gate. I had to wear 'the suit' for political reasons. I was so excited to see Zen again.

    As i arrived at the main gate i saw Izana, Zen, Mitsuhide, Kiki, and Obi. They were walking towards the castle. I made my way towards them but i knew i had to act the part of the servant of the king. I got on one knee and bowed to the guests. "Welcome, welcome to Vassness castle. My name is Phoenix, I will be showing you around, if that is alright with you." I asked raising my head.

    "It would be our pleasure, Lady Phoenix." Izana responded.

    When i looked up i looked Zen in the eyes and instant relief flooded over me. I stood up and motioned for them to follow me.

    I showed them into the room where King Soba was and politely bowed and left. As i left the room i noticed the hallway was empty so I ran, I ran to my room and locked myself into my bathroom. I grabbed my stomach and said "Your glad to see your dad again, aren't you? Well me too, but its not time yet."

3rd POV

    Izana was walking through the garden with Obi when Obi finally opened his mouth and said "Why am I with you, sir?"

    Izana stopped walking and checked his surrounding areas and responded with "I was getting a little bored, you should be able to keep me company." He started walking a little bit more until he stopped under a tree "We're being watched."

    Obi understood what that meant immediately and disappeared. He returned less than a minute later and said "There are 7 guards and it looks like the water mage."

    "That means the other 2 mages are watching Zen and his company. Well just follow my lead." Izana said and with that he walked over towards a door in the back on the garden, he looked up and saw Shirayuki looking at him through her window. She gave him a slight nod and Izana continued to open the door that leaded to a downward spiral staircase that looked like it hadn't been used in years.

    Obi started to follow Izana down the staircase and asked "Why does it seem like you know where your going?"

    "This isn't my first time here." Was all Izana said in response. They continued to walk down the stair and it kept getting darker and darker. They finally reached the bottom. There were lanterns that started to turn on. The walked down a long corridor lit only by the few lanterns on the wall. They stopped when they saw a cell appear. "Ah, we are here."

    The continued to the front of the cell and Izana look a lantern off the wall and used it to light up the inside of the cell. A girl with snow white hair came into view, she was asleep and covered in dust. "Shiroyasha, its me Izana, we have to go."

    The girl in the cell slowly started to move and she opened her eyes to reveal her sea blue eyes. It stuck Obi then, that this girl looked a lot like Zen.

I know its been a long time, but i just finished my first year of high school, and let me tell you, its not like the movies. I have the rest of the story planned out and most of it is written and i will finish the story as soon as i can, most likely this week. Thank you so much for reading and remember to vote and comment.
