Part IX protection

(Inside meeting hall)

There was a rectangular table. Izana and soba got the ends. Shirayuki and zen sat at one end.
The other 3 mages sat across from the two.
"What reasons do you have for calling everyone here today?" King Izana asked soba.
"In my country, we are holding a competition at the coliseum. 1 member from each royal family will participate. The winner of this tournament will win a prize of unspeakable value. We are doing this to strengthen relationships with all the countries." King soba said.
"I'm assuming your also participating." Izana said to soba
"Well of course, I need to show people not to underestimate me just because of my age." Soba said
"We would love to attend." Izana said to soba.
"Will you be participating?" Soba asked
"No, Zen will be participating, I feel like there is a lot more at stake than you say."
Izana said looking at Zen
"What a shame, if anything and happens to you, it will break my heart to see Phoenix upset." Soba said under his breath.
"There is no need to worry, I will be watching over him and make sure you don't do anything that will put him in harms way." Shirayuki said aloud.
"Be quiet, Master Soba wasn't speaking to you." The water mags objected.
"Now now, the winner of this tournament will receive. . . Phoenix, to use as they please. Although there is no chance of anyone beating me, I needed to put something valuable up for grabs. Phoenix, you know as well as I do, that I have something that you would do anything to protect. Even becoming the prize for my tournament. It how I kept you under control the whole time you were in my country. If you don't agree, I can easily "
"Enough, I understand where you are going, I'll become your prize in your stupid tournament" Shirayuki interjected.
"You can't do it Shirayuki." Zen yelled jumping out of his chair.
"Everyone has something that they would do anything to protect, and Soba happens to be in possession of what I want to protect." Shirayuki said calmly.
"I think this meeting is over than." Soba said

Sorry for the late update. I have no excuse other than laziness.
If you give me some suggestion in the comments section on what should happen next, I can get the next chapter out quicker. I will be updating throughout this week to make up for not updating recently.
