Hello There 2: Salad's Breaking Point

Guilt's Awake

Joyce walked (or skipped) out of the kitchen humming. They finished making pease pudding, that was actually; for the first time, edible. "I'm going to check on our guest." She said, looking at Salad Fingers.

He nodded messing around with his finger puppets, while quietly singing somewhere over the rainbow. Joyce walked into Salad's bedroom and climbed on top of the bed. Guilt was alseep, she frowned at him. I guess he didn't get his wished after all..... She thought. It was odd how he had managed to survive this long, it had been 3 years. There had to be an explanation.

She waited 5 minutes until he began to slowly open his eyes. She looked at him and gave a small smile. A few more minutes later and he was awake. Guilt attempted to move his arms but groaned in pain and slowly put them back down. "Good morning." Joyce said, jokingly.

"Joyce.?" He turned his head to look at her.

Guilt's eyes looked more dull than usual, yet he somehow managed to crack a small crooked grin. "Gee.... you've grown...hehe.." He laughed quietly.

"Uh, yeah? Anyways...I hope your okay, and I hope you're not mad." Joyce replied.

"Mad? Mad about what?" He asked, sarcastically."

"Not killing you..." She said, looking over at him.

He stayed silent for a moment, his good eye twitching. "Oh it's fine, I'll just have to do it later."  Guilt smiled, whispering the last part.

"Okay? I can bring you some food if you want?" Joyce asked hopping to her feet. "We have....sand, pudding...more sand?"

".......I'm good for now."

                         ???'s POV

We found a enclosed village today, surrounded by a large wall. I thought that it could've been a safe spot, but people there were... creepy. M and I walked around the village looking for item to collect, but the best we got were 2 pairs of clothes and a bottle of liquor. Not even sure what kind.

These military men asked us if we had seen a Green lanky mutant, an armless mutant, one that resembled a fetus, and a little girl. Of course I knew nothing of them, apparently they let out a crazed mutant that left the place and killed half of their village.

M and I stayed the night at one of their free houses but left the next day, they were just too creepy for their own good...
