Jeremy and Joyce set off on their journey to find Harry, following the trail left from the mysterious monster. Whatever took Harry had to be that right? "Y'know Majory and I could've left you with Salad." Jeremy said breaking the silence between them.

Joyce just kinda looked at him oddly. "Nah, I love Salad but, he can get a little annoying sometimes." She admitted, looking back down, kicking some sand.

The wind had stopped. "No I mean, isn't it a little dangerous for you to be out here?"

Joyce laughed. "First off why didn't you say anything before we left, secondly no I've fought and killed a mutant with nothing but a bloody pocket knife. I'm sure survive." She stated ending it with a laugh.

Jeremy paused for a moment, his blank expression being filled with a grin. "Your one tough cookie aren't you?" He asked, ruffling her frizzy hair.

They walked in silence once more, following the track as carefully as possible. They didn't want to loose him now.
But alas night fell. Luckily enough the trail had led them straight to a town. The were apartments, stores, and restaurants. They where in way better condition than the other buildings they had seen. Jeremy led Joyce to an apartment and they searched around, him kicking open doors and searching the house, gun drawn. Joyce would stay behind. Once they cleared the place; which took years, Jeremy as Joyce settled in a small room.

Joyce was surprised at how clean and untouched the place was. That is except for some cracked walls and some plants growing in the corners.

She hopped on top of one of the couches and snuggled up into the warm fabric. Salad's chair was nice, but this was way better. "Hey Joyce some of these cans aren't expired yet!" Jeremy shouted with excitement , from the small kitchen.

Joyce peeked her head up, real food? She excitedly jumped out from the couch and ran to him. Jeremy had his head in the pantry. "You want some canned pineapple?" He asked pulling out a large can.

Joyce nodded happily. Jeremy nodded and searched for two forks. He opened the lid and him and Joyce sat on the floor sharing their sweets treats.

Salad and Majory sat together for what seemed like hours, drawing and sharing small conversations. Salad usually had one sided ones, where he wasn't really talking to her or anyone in particular. He would go on about random things, but what Majory noticed was way cuter. Salad Fingers would talk about Joyce a lot, Majory found this extremely adorable. It strained her to say this but, she enjoyed his company more than She enjoyed Hubert's.
