"Huh...that's a bit strange don't you think?" Jeremy said, leaning against the wall.
"A little, I mean I've been through stranger things." Joyce replied staring intensely at the radio.
"I guess, however I wonder why it's only Disney songs." Majory said, looking to Joyce.
Joyce returned the glance and got up to fiddle with the radio. It was old but it still managed to work. She tried flipping through different channels yet the song stayed the same. "Maybe someone who worked at the radio station is still up there." She said blatantly.
"Perhaps, maybe we should check it out some time." Jeremy stated.
The room was filled with an AKWARD silence, nobody knew what to do. Not to mention there was a dead body in the kitchen and Salad was unconscious. Suddenly the memory hit Joyce like a truck...Guilt. She had forgotten about him until now. A wave of sadness washed over her as she retreated to the armchair, sinking into it. "I can't believe he's dead..." Joyce said, to no one in particular.
"Who? They guy in the kitchen? Who was he?" Jeremy asked, breaking the silence.
"Yeah, he helped us escape the walls...I found him years later tattered and bloody. He wanted me to kill him, so he could be with his daughter." Joyce replied.
Jeremy only nodded. "Well he sure did get AHEAD of himself."
Joyce, despite the offensiveness of the joke, snorted a bit. Majory on the other hand nudged Jeremy in the arm. "Heh, well at least it was KNIFE of you to take care of him." Jeremy snickered.
Joyce gave out a small laugh, knowing Guilt he would've laughed too. Majory smacked Jeremy upside the head, even though she too were laughing. "I guess you would say his death was in.... VEIN!"
After that they all stared laughing. Jeremy sure did know how to lighten the mood, even if he was an asshole about it.
