Cold air seeped out of the building, sending shivers down their spines. Jeremy gulped and took the first step inside. Joyce followed quickly after. They were greeted by a long corridor, at the end was a long pole going up past the ceiling. Almost like a fireman's pole. "What in the...." Jeremy's mumbled touching the pole, and giving an odd glance at Joyce.
"We need to find a way up there somehow.." Joyce said looking around for anything.
It was dark inside and they couldn't see much, so they tried to search the walls for a door or stair case if possible. They must of searched for hours. Joyce's hand trailed over the walls before stopping at a bump. Her fingers examined the shape. She pushed it.
Nothing happened for awhile until part of the wall opened. They jumped back, Jeremy smacking his head on the wall. It was an elevator.....
Throughout all the rubble Salad and Marjory managed to salvage about one canister of ink, the Jeremy fisher puppet, their drawings, and a baby carriage to put them in. "It's not a lot but it will do for now." Marjory replied looking at the poor content inside.
"W-wil we b-b-be coming back...? You k-know....for the smiling m-man?"
"The Who?"
"The ge-gentleman in the kitchen..." Salad looked nervous, his hands intertwined with each other.
"Oh him....., do you guys have a shovel...?"
Salad's face went blank, as if thinking rather hard. "P-perhaps..."
He left out of the house, leaving Majory inside. H came back 7 minutes later with a rusty old spades. "This will do!" Majory replied grabbing the shovel and walking into the kitchen. Now all she had to do was drag Guilt's body out...
