Jeremy and Joyce set off on their journey, leaving Marjory to take care of the rust loving weirdo. Once gone Marjory walked back inside and checked on the mutant. She sighed softly and sat on a chair that was placed next to his bed. Salad's facial expressions shifted while he slept. Some times he looked panicked, or others he looked.....pleased. It was odd.

12 minutes passed until his eyes opened. Salad groggily got up rubbing his eyes sheepishly. He didn't even notice Majory sitting next to him. "Uh.? Good morning?" Marjory said, breaking the silence between them.

Salad's head shifted to hers, he gave her a toothy grin. "A-ah, Majory St-Stewart Baxter. N-nice to see you again." He replied, kicking the covers of of him.

"Yeah. Nice to see you too."

Salad's gaze shifted away from hers awkwardly. "You're much bigger than you w-were before."

"What?" She asked, almost taking that as an insult.

Salad shifted nervously, a weird noise escaping his mouth. "I-I'm going to go see r-roger. Bye."

Without another word he walked out. Majory sat there. She let out a sigh and followed him. Maybe if they were alone they could get to know each other all over again.
Majory had always been into painting. She remembered Hubert would always take photos for her and even try to paint himself. She smiled as the thought of how he used to accidentally spill paint all over his canvas. Those were good memories. It's a shame he didn't remember. "Why are you so good at this?!" He used to complain. She laughed as she entered the living room. Salad was fiddling with the radio as if trying to find a station. Nothing came on.

Making sure he was fine she walked into another room. There was a large boiler of some sorts. But that's not what caught her eye. Scattered around the room were pieces of parchment paper. There was even an old ink box with a pump attached to it. That gave her an idea.
Grabbing the best parchments she could find, Majory went back into the living room and sat at the table. This immediately grabbed Salad's attention. He soon was taking a seat not far from her. "Do you wish to draw too, Salad?" She asked politely.

Salad smiled and nodded. She grinned, there wAs happiness radiating off of him. It was infectious. Sliding him a piece of paper and "pen" Majory got to work on her drawing. Her lines were shaky and the proportions were off, but she was surprised she could still draw. Salad on the other hand was spilling ink all over his paper. He leaned over and saw what she drew.

"How are y-you so g-great at this!?"
