Majory's eyes widened as an image of the mutant flashed before her eyes. It sounded as if it were close to them. Running as quietly as she could, Majory ran into Salad's room shaking him away. "Salad I need you to wake up!" She whisper screamed (heh).
Salad Finger's eyes shot open and Majory put a hand over his mouth using the other to signal to him to keep his mouth shut. "Where's your safety cupboard?" She asked, slowly unclamping her hand from his mouth.
Salad's eyes brightened for a moment, he took her arm and led her to the kitchen were he pulled the door of the cupboard to the side. They both climed in, Majory closing it behind them.
They should've disposed Guilt's corpse. Keeping it around was a horrible idea.
Thump....
Thump...
Thump..
It was silent, and Majory was beginning to think the thing was gone. "E-excuse m-me Majory? W-what is it th-that we are t-taking shelter f-from?"
"We-"
A loud screech was made, and it sounded as if it was right up against them. They heard crashes, as if furniture was being thrown about, tares in the wall paper, and the fierce shout of the monster.
It crashed into everything searching for the smell of its prey. And soon they found it. Guilt's motionless slightly rotting body was slumped up again the wall. It nudged him. No response. It gave a growl of frustration and ran out of the house as his body fell forward, bending in an unnatural position.
The footsteps grew quieter and quieter. Majory waited for five more minutes before opening up the cupboard. The house was trashed. "H-heavens to Betsy! Eh-what happened!" Salad stuttered putting his hands to his mouth.
Everything was broken. The table, the stove, the armchair, Rodger, the walls..... well that is except for two things that were left on the ground. Horris and Gerald.
