Hello There 2: Salad's Breaking Point

Cold Salty Droplets

Salad Fingers and Majory followed the trail. Barely sharing a word to one or the other. Salad was in the middle of having an existential crisis and Majory was too busy making sure they didn't go off trail.
Dying was a whole new topic that he had never even thought about. The dead mutant in the garbage back at the containment cells, witnessing Guilt's death first hand..
this sent a shiver down his spine.

He remembered how Guilt had raised to knife and repeatedly stabbed his head. The blood staining his slate grey hair as it poured onto the floor. Dying was so much more. Once you're dead... your gone forever...

"Joyce..." He mumbled with a soft tone.

Majory....Jeremy....Milford Cubicle.... The people that he liked could all be gone in an instant.
Salad felt the cold salty droplets fall from his eyes. He had cried once before, but not like this.

"Hub- I mean Salad?? Are you ok?" Majory asked, taken aback by his current state.

His face was blank but the tears said otherwise. They flooded from his eyes but he couldn't stop them....

Joyce, Jeremy, Harry, and Ellora sat upstairs now. Joyce looked at Ellora intensely before finally speaking up. "Ok. What I need to know is. Why. No. How did my friend get dragged all the way over hear?"

Ellora sighed looking at Joyce. "I'm doing experiments with them... I found a mutant that doesn't seem to attack people, so I use them to try and seek out other mutants that poses the same trait. When they brought in this armless thing," She says, glancing at Harry, "he tried to fight us, so I figured he was just another hostile."

Jeremy butted in, his nose finally at the end of bleeding. "Ok that nice and all but... if I was kidnapped from my house, what else would you expect a person to do, rather than fight back. That's what I would do."

Ellora's face tinted red, in embarrassment. She didn't even think about that.
