Chapter Twenty-Four (First Date!)

Guess what!!! This chapter is gonna be the first date!! Don't worry, it's gonna be cute if you remember the chapter where they kissed for the first time. If not, then it may seem a bit odd at first. Also, since we are so close to the end, I have decided to start editing.

Chapter Twenty-Four

"Come on Sammy. Just tell me where we're going. Is this really necessary?" I asked as he wrapped a blindfold around my head.

"Yup. It's supposed to be a surprise, hence the blindfold." He replied. I could hear the smile in his voice and knew he was enjoying all of this.

I pouted as he helped me into the passenger side of the car. He finally got his motor skills back yesterday. He seems to be able to drive fine now but that doesn't mean I can't worry.

"I don't see why it needs to be this much of a surprise." I said as he climbed into the drivers seat.

"You can't see anything at all you silly goose." He said jokingly.

"Haha." I said sarcastically.

"I just want it to be special." I heard him say quietly. Even though I could hardly hear him, I could still hear how much he cared in his voice. I smiled at him as I felt the car start to move and we pulled out of the driveway.

Twenty minutes later

"What the hell is this far away?" I asked Sammy.

"We're almost there. Calm down mister impatient." He said with a chuckle.

I groaned. "How long is almost?" I asked him.

"We're here." He said as I felt the car hit some sort of bump, probably pulling into the places parking lot.

"Finally, can I take this Damn thing off now?" I asked gesturing towards the blindfold that I had somehow managed to not rip off of my head yet.

"Nope, not till we're inside. You're just gonna have to wait for a little longer." He said. I could hear the smile in his voice again. He was enjoying torturing me like this.

I groaned as he opened his door and I heard his feet crunch on gravel. I could hear every one of his steps as he walked around the car to open my door. He helped me out and we started to crunch pur way to whatever he had planned.

"Welcome." I heard a female voice say as we walked through a door and I heard a bell ring.

I listened intently for any clues as to where we were as Sammy paid for us to get in but he seemed to have this planned out with the woman. I huffed as we walked away and down a short hall. Sammy opened another door and a wave of sounds hit me. There was loud bangs, there was gunfire, there was small beeps, and the continuous sound of fun. I already had an idea of where we were.

"If you take off this blindfold and we're where I think we are then you are officially the best date planner." I said with a smile, hearing Sammy chuckle next to me.

"Well, then I hope it's what you think." He said before he reached up and started to undo the knot of the blindfold. Once the blindfold was off I gasped. It was exactly where I thought we were.

"The Arcade!!!" I yelled as I took in the scene around me. I turned around and jumped onto Sammy wrapping my arms around him. "I fucking love you so Damn much." I said in his ear before kissing his cheek and jumping down. "Now come on, we have games to play!"

"You're like a child." Sammy said jokingly as he smiled at me before he grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the first game.

After playing a few games I started to not really pay attention. I just stared at Sammy as he beat pretty much all of them. I faintly heard music playing in the background and all of the people around us talking.

"Die Assbutt!" Sammy yelled at the game.

I gave him a questioning look. "Did you just say Assbutt?" I asked.

"Shut up. Castiel is my favorite character okay." He said blushing, referencing our favorite show to watch together, Supernatural.

"Whatever." I said with a smile as I held up my hands.

Sammy gasped causing me to look around. "What?" I asked when I saw nothing that would cause him to gasp.

"This is your favorite song!" He whispered/yelled. I listened to the song playing in the background and realized it was indeed You're Such A by Hailee Steinfeld.

"So?" I asked.

"So? So we have to dance!" He exclaimed, grabbing my hand and pulling me over to the center of the room.

"Um.. this is an arcade. You don't really dance here. Plus, I can't dance." I told him.

"So what. Who cares what people think?" He asked with a smile as we finally reached the center of the room. "And if you're so.bad at dancing, then just stand on my feet." He told me.

I groaned as I gave in. Once Sammy had decided something there was no pulling him away from it. I carefully put my feet on his before he started to sway. It wasn't even the kind of dance that went with the song but to me it was perfect. I smiled as I looked into his eyes.

"I love you." I told him, resting my head on his chest and seeing a few people giving us odd looks and hearing others saying 'Awww'.

"I love you too." He whispered, leaning his head down and kissing my forehead.

This was the perfect date. Sammy couldn't have made it any better at this point. But I could tell that something was eating at him and has been ever since he woke up from the coma. I just don't think he's ready to talk about it yet. I just closed my eyes and let the world and all of pur problems slip away as I stood there dancing with the only person I could ever love.
