another day // paramore

In the past two months, life had become a bit of a blur for me.  The only day that really remained ever-present in my mind was boot camp, where I suffered the same fate as Harry. I was placed into a group with three other girls, who were all beautiful. I wanted to win this competition, however I knew that the British public was not fond of girl bands; girl bands never went far in the competition.

The blonde one in the group was named Perrie, the brunette with extremely curly hair was called Leigh-Anne, and the other brunette who was curvy was called Jesy. I instantly felt my self esteem drop as soon as I saw the three girls in front of me. I introduced myself timidly. The three girls seemed to have already introduced themselves to each other so they introduced themselves to me and then we walked to the hotel that we would be staying in for the remainder of the competition.  Things were awkward between us; we never interacted with each other much unless it was for the band. I sensed some tension between Perrie and Jesy, and I could tell that both girls blamed each other for being put into a band.

We decided a name for our group that night. We decided to call ourselves Rhythmix.

I had become close to the three girls that I spent every waking moment with. We spoke about everything and we rarely argued. Then one week everything went downhill.

The five members of One Direction were performing their debut single “What Makes You Beautiful” on the X Factor. Perrie was very close with Zayn, a boy in the band so we met them.

My breathing had become deep and ragged as we neared the five boys. I had never planned it out this way. I planned that I would be the calm and confident one as Harry trembled. However, it was the complete opposite until I locked eyes with a pair of jade ones.

“Jade?” Harry gasped.

“T-that’s me,” I stuttered.

“So, you’re in a girl group, huh?” Harry asked me, trying to make small talk.

“Yes, a-and y-you, you’re in a boy band now,” I told Harry.

“I’m sorry Jade,” Harry said.

“N-no. Don’t you know how sad you made me? I cried myself to sleep for ages because I knew you would never forgive me,” I told him, while I shot the girls a look telling them I would tell them about this later.

“I didn’t mean to make you sad. We were both kids. After you left, I spoke to George and Carmen and they confirmed what you told me. I’m so sorry,” Harry told me.

“You could have told me this before I left,” I told him and then I stormed out of the room, the girls following me.

I told the members of Little Mix everything that had happened between Harry and me. After they all hugged me and whispered reassurances in my ear.

Once we all broke apart, I saw Louis standing in my doorway.

“Hey Lou,” I sniffled.

“Hey babe. Harry told me what happened, I’m so sorry. He’s a stubborn dick, but he truly cares for you,” Louis told me.

“If he cared he would have believed me,” I sobbed.

“Hey, shhhhh... You and I both know Harry cares about you,” Louis said.

“No he doesn’t,” I said as I shuffled forward in Louis’ lap and hugged him tightly, while he hugged back.

“He does, so much. He really misses you,” he told me as he rubbed circles on my back.

“I miss him too. I just... I don’t know if I can trust him,” my voice cracked at the end of the statement.

He kissed my forehead, as I fluttered my eyelids shut. “I’m so sorry babe,” he whispered as he kissed my temple.

“It’s okay,” I told him and then our lips locked. The kiss was short and sweet, until Louis pulled away.

“I can’t Jade, not that I don’t want to, it’s just that Harry likes you and I can’t fuck with him. It’s just the rules of the guys,” he said, his voice gravelly.

“Rules are made to be broken,” I said with an evil glint in my eyes as I kissed him again. This kiss we shared was full of lust and passion. I grinded on him as we both fell back on to the bed. It’d be fair to say we were in a rather compromising position.

And guess who walked past while mine and Louis’ bodies were latched on to each other?

The one and only Harry Styles.

{I really like this chapter bc it brings out my Jade's true colours. May I remind you that these characters are probably not accurate representations of the people they're meant to represent. I have no idea what any of these people act like and I'm just using my creative license to make something that I percieve to be a good story.}
