Chapter 12

I fell asleep like that, and luckily didn't have any classes the next day. It was a rainy day in London as it always is.

When I woke up I wasn't at my house or Darcy's or the hospital. Darcy! I remembered the previous day... What had happened she seemed so happy why Darcy.

She had a perfect family, a perfect boyfriend, and a perfect life. I didn't see a fault in her life?

Where was I though? I looked around me and saw Totoro staring back at me, and jumped.

I giggled at myself because Totoro had scared me. I laughed in PJs bed and started twirling Totoro in my hands. I pulled the flanel sheets up to my neck and fell back asleep.

I woke back up to see Peej next to me. He was laying in the bed under the covers with me. He was playing what looked like Pokemon, and he was getting frustrated.

He looked over from his game for a second. "Good morning sleeping beauty," PJ said as he was more focused on his game.

"Morning," I whispered. "How's Darcy doing?"

"Want to see her?" he said with a smile. I nodded and pulled myself out bed. Pj sat on the bed looking up at me, I pulled PJ by the arm to get him to move. We left his flat and made our way to Darcy's.

I looked like complete crap, my hair was a tangled mess and I had been wearing these clothes for almost 3 days.

When I opened the door to her room Dan was by her bed talking in a low whisper and Darcy was giggling. Phil and Chris were on the other side laughing.

I always felt left out around them. Dan introduced Darcy to Phil, Chris, and PJ way before I had even met them. I was now just getting to meet them outside of there videos.

I just watched from the doorframe smiling. "Knock,knock," PJ announced. Darcy and Dan looked up at us both.

"Perrie you are crazy!" Dan laughed.

"What!" I snapped not wanting to here that.

Dan turned to Darcy and said, "the doctors had to put her to sleep because she was trying to go sit with you."

"Wow! Thanks Dan I thought Darcy wouldn't have to know that part," I joked playfully pushing Dan.

PJ turned to me and I started to blush. I guess everyone saw because Chris made an "oohhh," sound.

"Um guys can you excuse us?" I asked them. They nodded and left the room.

I sat in the chair that Dan was sitting in. I grabbed Darcy's hand again, but this time it was normal temperature. She smiled at me, her face was super pale.

"So what's new?" she whispered trying to act like nothing happened.

I wasn't buying it, but we will get to that later.

"Aw you know... PJ kissed me... nothing new," I joked laughing at her expression.

Her eyes lit up, Darcy ate love up. She started squealing and clapping her hands together like a seal. I was starting to laugh along by how ridiculous she looked.

"Are you like," she got close to me. "like dating?" she whispered.

I shrugged 'no,' because I didn't know the real answer. She glared at me in a funny way.

She stopped laughing and order, "let me see those cuts!"

I stretched my arm out to her, and she rolled up my sleeve. In the place of the cuts were just little scars. She smiled back up at me, "good girl."

"So you know you gave me a heart attack back their," I told her. She just stared back at me, motionless.

Who was she to give me a lecture on cutting then turn around and try to commit?!

"Dar...what's really going on," I felt the tears coming. Great way to be strong Perrie.

"I don't know,"

"DARCY!"

"I... I felt alone.... I don't know why but I felt weak,"

"Come on you don't mean that,"

"Perrie I couldn't help you, I mean with your dad and everything... I'm scared of what's going to happen to you..."

"So you decided to leave me, that probably wouldn't help much," I pouted.

"You wouldn't understand," she mumbled.

I rolled my sleeves back up and shoved my arms in her face. "Yeah I wouldn't!" I spat at her.

That shut her up.

I brought my best friend in for a hug. I dropped the subject and we continued to talk about Pj, because it seemed to cheer her up. But me and heard had one more thing in common.

We were both scared to death as too what my father was going to do next.
