Chapter 19- Julia

-Austin's PoV-

I ran after him. He had her. She was with me and I let her go. I was so stupid.

My feet came to a stop as I lost her sent, he was no longer in my sight. I fell to my knees. My hands wrapped around the blood stone, Julia's blood stone. He could do anything to her and there was nothing I could do.

"Austin?" Rebecca's voice came from behind me, her hand on my shoulder.

"He removed her necklace. She can't stop him from anything." I held her necklace tightly in my hand.

"We will save her Austin. Don't give up on her. Julia loves you." Her brown eyes became level with my hazel eyes.

I nodded before I stood. Heading back to the house. In my heart I knew she was there but in my mind I knew she wasn't. Her smile as she watched the snow. Taking her up the tree. The way her beautiful grey eyes watched everything. She was so beautiful. She was mine. And she was gone.

"Austin!" Andrew called as I walked through the door to the house.

"What?" I yelled.

"It's your mom. She wants to see you in her room." Andrew said.

I went up the stairs, stopping at the door that lead into my mom's room. I knocked, hearing approval to come in. Mom was laying on the couch, her skin a sickly pale color.

"Mom what's wrong?" I asked walking towards her.

"It's werewolf poisoning. While I was hunting I was attacked." She whispered.

My nostrils flared, biting my lip to keep from letting tears fall. The thing I thought wouldn't happen, happened. I turned so my back was to her and shock my head, letting a few years roll down my cheeks.

"Austin." I turned around and walked towards her, taking her hand in mine.

I bit my lip between my teeth.

"Julia, you need to get Julia." My mom whispered.

"What?" I asked.

"Julia's the Hunter." my mom answered.

Meaning Julia could save any vampire, her blood is half vampire, half human. Julia could save my mom.
