-Rebecca's PoV-

It's been a few days since Julia was captured by Ryder. Austin hasn't stopped looking for her. You could tell he was hurt, depressed. Michele wasn't getting any better and Austin only became more frustrated with himself.

"Tyler, I'm gonna go into town. See some old friends from school, just a small visit." I said standing from the couch in my room.

"Ok but if it gets to be too much just come home or call me." Tyler looped his arms around my waist.

Things have been different between us lately. He hasn't really talked to me and hardly ever makes eye contact with me. Today was one of the only days that he's ever been alone with me and I think things have been a little hard on him. I can understand that.

I nodded and changed into a white tank top that showed my curves and my black leather jacket. I grabbed my phone and headed out of my room.

I reached town and looked at how much every thing looked to me but I found a small diner near the school. I would always hang there with friends so it made since to ask to meet a few of them here. When I walked though the door, a small bell dinged. It smelled like apple pie and burgers. I wasn't really that concentrated on the blood smell.

An old couple sat in a two seated booth and watched me as I walked passed them. I wish I could grow old with the ONE and hold his hands across the table like that. I sat in a booth at the back of the diner waiting but no one came. Finally I thought about leaving when a teenaged boy walked over to me.

His blonde hair was tasseled everywhere, dark jeans hanging on his hips that showed a small band on his navy boxers underneath, a black tee shirt clinging to his torso like it was sewed to his body.

"Hi, I'm Jimmy. What can I get you?" His smile perfectly white only making his charming blueish brown eyes sparkle.

"Some new friends." I laughed and ran a hand through my hair.

"Is something wrong?" Jimmy asked his eyebrows crunching together in confusion.

"Just a stupid long story, I'm not gonna bore you with it." I sighed and looked out the window next to the booth.

"How about I get us two spirits and you can tell me?" Jimmy walked away without my answer.

There was something about the way he looked at me. Like he was apart of me. I pushed that thought aside when he came back with two glasses in his hands and set one of them in front of me and sat down across from me in the booth.

"What's your name?" Jimmy asked flashing another smile.

"Rebecca Heart." I answered.

"Well that's a beautiful name for such a beautiful girl." Jimmy said causing some best to rise to my face.

"I used to go to school in this town but for personal reasons I had to move away." I sighed again and took a long sip from the drink.

"Rebecca I know your a vampire." Jimmy said taking my hand from across the table.

At his comment I nearly spit it all over the table.

"What?" I asked. I had to clear my throat to get the liquid to go down right, after he said what he did.
