Chapter 1- Him
I tucked my hair behind my ear as I scanned the boxes I had finished carrying to my room. Why did my mom want to move to Stone Falls Creek so badly? Nothing about this place was worth staying.
I signed. It's been two months since dad passed away. They say it was some strange animal attack. My brother Nick was still mopping around.
I set the picture of dad down on my night stand and began opening boxes and putting things where their new home would be. I finally got all my clothes put away. My bed was made. Which was hard to do because it was on a base that sat four feet off the floor and had a stair case that lead to the bed plat form. My book shelves were underneath that.
I crawled up the steps and put up my post board and began putting my notes, photos, tickets on it. I scanned my room again.
My desk was cluttered with my school supplies and desk items. My closet had a pocket door that was open at the moment, my closet wasn't very full. Nick had came into my room earlier and had helped me put the flat screen up on the wall and move my tv stand under it. My room was pretty big.
Tomorrow I started school at Stone Falls High School. One thing I hated the most was starting at new school at the middle of the school year. Every body had already made all of their friends while I was the new girl. Nick, my older brother was a senoir this year while I was a sophomore. Nick had the same blue eyes as me, with our dad's jet black hair. He stood a several inches taller than me.
I looked at the time. It was ten o'clock. It's been a long day so I should get ready for bed. I sighed and closed the curtains on my windows. I changed into cotton shorts and a tank top. I plugged my Iphone into the charger and crawled under the covers. Hopefully tomorrow will go better than I thought it would.

I smacked my hand down on my night stand, causing the beeping to stop. I groaned as I rolled over. Soon enough I got the strength to get out of the warm comfort of my bed. I walked into my bathroom and turned on the water. I stripped out of my pj's and jumped in the shower.
Once I was finished washing my hair and body, I got out, wrapping the towel around my body, heading into my room. I put on fresh undergarments. There was a beating sound coming from the windows and roof. Great, just great. It's raining on my first day of school. I decided on wearing a white tee shirt that said 'LOVE Is Everything' in black print, torn up jeans with my black combat boots. I did my make up natural and flat ironed my hair and brushed my teeth.
I gathered up my school supplies in my book bag, slipping my phone into my back pocket. I grabbed my car keys and headed down the stairs. I said goodbye to my mom and told Nick I would see him at school. I got into my car and pulled out of the drive way heading to Falls Creek High School.
When I reached the school other teenagers were heading into the building away from the rain. I popped open my umbrella and headed for the school. As I made my way through the building I finally made it to the office.
A woman with slightly grey hair that put up in a clip do smiled at me, "can I help you, dear?"
"Yes, I'm Julia Mason. I'm here to pick up my classes." I leaned against the desk while the woman pulled up my name on the computer.
She printed out my classes on a list and their room numbers. I headed down the hallway to my locker, putting in the combination and pulling the leaver as it popped open. I placed my bag in my locker, taking my large notebook, folder, agenda, and pencil for class.
I turned after closing my locker an headed down the hallway filled with people. People started at me then looked away. I made it to my first class. I took a seat in the back where the teacher said that seat was the only one open.
