Chapter 12- Lexi and Rider
-Lexi's PoV-
I didn't know where I was going but all I knew was getting away from him. Tyler was mine. Not Rebecca's.
Trees passed me at a glare. The sky stayed dark above me as I dashed through the forest. I stopped.
I stopped in the middle of the cemetery. Tomb stones lined up and down rows, the trees creaked around me, the wind flew through my hair, crows cawing in the distance. I walked along the rows counting and reading every name possible. Some were so old their tomb stone name was faded to much to read.
I stopped. Kicking a tomb stone clear across the cemetery into the trees.
"A little angry, are we?" A male voice asked.
I turned around towards where the voice came.
"Who are you?" I asked keeping my eyes locked on a guy about my age.
His brown hair ruffled In the wind, eyes black, black jacket clinging to his broad frame as he watched me.
"I'm Rider, I take it that your not really that happy?" The guy named Rider pushed off the tree.
"Why do you care?" I huffed crossing my arms over my chest.
"Well Lexi, I was a close friend of Austin's. Let's just say I'm no longer fond of his coven or that mate." Rider walked towards where I was standing.
"How do you know my name?" My voice cracked.
"Lexi, I'm like you in many ways. My instinct is knowledge, I know everything there is to know. Just like you can control another's thoughts." Rider cocked his head to the side.
"Your a vampire. So then you know that Tyler is the reason I'm here?" My voice was weak.
"Yes and I know your not going back." Rider reached out and took my hand.
I gave a questioning look. Something made me trust him, maybe it was the fact he knew me and everything. Rider pulled me towards the woods, telling me the plan.
