Zayn POV
Ang and I waited anxiously for our dads at the coffee shop. I couldn't stop checking the time and Ang kept biting and playing with her lips.
"Whats takin them so long" she kept repeating
I was about to answer when I saw them come in the door. "Shh they're here" I said as I elbowed her
"Ow! That hurt you ass"
"Evangeline! You know we don't use those words" Ümit (Evangeline's dad) said
" oh hi dad yeah I know I'm sorry" she said blushing like a child
I stood and walked over to hug my dad and shake Ümits hand.
"Zayn what is it? The two of you sounded nervous on the phone." My dad asked
"Umm. Well. We." I looked over at Evangeline, her beautiful smile instantly calmed me "Evangeline and I got married in Australia"
I studied our Dads, looking for a warning that they were going to kill us. They looked at each other, and then back at us.
"Evangeline, are you sure this is what you want?" Ümit asked
Ang took her hand off my knee and grabbed my hand. "Yeah dad it is, I love him"
"Are you going to take care of my daughter or will you be sending her home crying into her mother and brothers arms again?" He said coldly eyeing me up and down.
"I promise nothing will ever come between us again. We took this oath and we meant everything"
He studied me then sat back in his chair with a pleased look on his face.
Evangeline POV
"Evangeline, why now? What was the rush?" Yaser (Zayns dad) stared at me. He frowned his eyes brows and leaned closer to me "are you pregnant?"
That made my dad shoot out of his seat and glare hatfully at me, "WHAT? No I'm not pregnant!" I responded quickly
"Are you sure? I know you young kids think marriage is what you have to do in this situation."
"Yaser I promise I'm not pregnant no worries"
"Hmm, I'm happy you've found someone better than that Roger boy Evangeline. I never liked him, But you still worry me, just 20, you have your whole lives ahead of you both" my dad said in a soft tone I had never heard before
