Chapter 27 - Results

Zayn POV 

I looked at Ang as the doctor walked in the room, she was so nervous playing with her bandage from having her blood drawn. 

The doctor sat on the stool in front of us fiddling with his papers. 

“Okay so first, Mrs. Malik you are dehydrated, not severely but we can hook you up to an IV for a few hours or you can just start drinking a lot of water” 

“I’ll drink more water, today is a busy day.” She said cutting him off 

“Alright, and”

he paused looking at both of us

“You… are pregnant, that explains the severe sickness in the morning and then being completely fine in the afternoon” 

I froze, waiting for him to say something else but he didn’t, he was waiting for us to react, but we didn’t. 

I finally turned to look at Evangeline and I grabbed her hand, she still didn’t move. 

“I have set you up with an OBGYN down the hall for an exam with Doctor Diaz” 

I looked at Ang she was still frozen but now her jaw had dropped and she was starting to smile. 

“Ang… Ang breathe, we’re having a baby!” I said excitedly 

“Oh My God Zayn!” She turned to face me jumping off the table “I’m pregnant it makes so much sense now!” I wrapped my arms around her kissing her cheek 

“so let’s go down to the obgyn she can see you now so you can get out of here, wouldn’t want you to be late for the concert” I looked at him, he knew who we were? “My daughter would never forgive me if I was the reason you were late” 

We walked straight into Dr. Diaz’s office

“Hello Zayn and Evangeline, go ahead and remove your pants and underwear and put on this gown and I’ll be right back” She smiled as she left the room 

“Right to the point ain’t she” I said still holding on to Evangeline’s hand 

“Zayn, I need my hand to get undressed” she said pulling away 

“Oh yeah, of course, I’m just so happy right now.” 

Dr. Diaz walked back in and got straight to business putting Ang in the stirrups. 

“By the end of this I’ll tell you how far along you are and your due date and I’ll give you paper work to take back to your Doctor in the UK” 

After the exam was finished and Ang was dressed I wrapped my arms around her and put my head down to her stomach, I had started to cry. I hadn’t been this happy since our wedding. I couldn’t wait to tell everyone! 

We walked out into the lobby where Paul had been waiting

“Well that took longer than I thought, we’re going to have to meet everyone at the venue so-“ 

I didn’t let him finish I ran up to him and hugged him 

“What is this about Zayn? Ang?” he looked back at her smiling as she held her hands over her stomach 

“We’re havin a baby Paul! There’s a baby in there” 

“What?” he yelled elated 

“We’ll tell you the rest when we get to the venue so we can tell everyone, it’s a lot of information” Ang cut in grabbing my hand and pulling me to the car. 

Evangeline POV 

We walked in the venue and everyone ran up to us ‘Are you okay?’ ‘What’s wrong?’ please tell me you’re okay?’ they all shouted at me. 

“Everyone have a seat, we have a lot to tell you” Zayn said in a somber tone, not letting anyone on to our secret 

“So, we went to the doctor and I’m dehydrated-“

Louis cut me off 

“What that’s all? You spent all day at hospital for that?” 

“Louis shut up and let me finish!” I shouted “Also… I’m”

“Pregnant shes pregnant!” Zayn shouted not being able to wait for me to finish my sentence the boys ran over to Zayn and Eleanor and Camilla ran to me. 

“I’m so happy for yall!” Camilla said as she placed her hands on my stomach 

“I knew it! Camilla and I called it when we got here, sick in the morning fine in the afternoon so obvious!” Eleanor said jumping around 

“Wait guys there’s more!” I yelled to get everyone’s attention “I’m two months along” I paused “And we’re having TWINS!” 

Everyone jumped up again Niall ran over to me picked me up while jumping around, he passed me to Harry, then to Liam, then to Louis, then they finally they sat me down. 

“Come on boys, we’ve got a lot to do in only a little time, you ALL need haircuts” 

“No, I want to let mine grow out” Harry proclaimed 

“Fine but I've still got to trim the ends Harry” 

“I want to let mine grow a little longer again to try something new” Liam suggested 

“You are all being difficult” I laughed as I started trimming Harry’s hair

“Niall I need to add more blonde” 

“Maybe i'll go back to brunette Ang” he said, I knew what they were doing 

“Guys, I can still work, you don’t have to try to make anything easy on me” 

They all nodded “But if you’re ever tired let us know “ Niall said as he placed a hand on my stomach 

“if I'm ever tired my assistant will do your hair, I’m going to start teaching her more for when I have the babies” 

Harry spun around in his chair giving me a hug “We’re all massively happy for you!” 

Zayn POV 

We preformed it was an amazing show, the energy was right. I was so happy and the boys were happy for me, I wanted to share with the fans my good news but I needed to wait till I’ve told our families. 

As soon as the show was over we walked to our cars to head to the airport to immediately fly back to London and then Niall to Ireland.

Since the boys and I were in such a good mood we ran up to the gate surrounding our area and started grabbing phones and cameras taking photos of each other and ourselves. 

I don’t think I had ever heard girls scream so loud and look so happy. One girl screamed “My dad treated your wife today Zayn! Don’t worry I won’t tell!” 

I walked over to her “thank you so much for keeping the secret” I grabbed her phone and took pictures of everyone including me and Evangeline, I signed her phone case and handed it back to her 

She started crying as she said “Thank you so much Zayn! I love you!”

We chatted with other fans for a while then finally had to leave or we’d miss our flight. 

Ang and I sat in our seats and she rested her head on my shoulder, she was tired.

I looked at her and kissed her forehead and she looked up and said “I can’t wait to tell my mum, I think she’ll be really happy for us love” 

I smiled at her “Me too Ang, I think they’ll be surprised of how soon it is” 

“Oh well, haha shit happens” she laughed 

I looked back down as she was drifting off to sleep “I love you Evangeline, so much”
