Chapter 2

We said it'd be best to meet where we agreed, so I double checked everything I had in case I forgot something. Looks like I have everything I need. I put my hand over my shirt pocket where my sword-pen lay in a protective manner. I sighed. Ugh that dream is getting to me.

After breakfast, I took a quick shower, brushed my teeth, changed into fresh clothes, and left my hair wet and uncombed.

Everyone knew about about our little trip, thanks to me yelling around camp yesterday and today saying, "We're going on a trip, we're going on a trip!" Of course occasionally someone threw something to shut me up. This time, it was Clarisse, who threatened me to stop before I would "get it". I just stuck my tongue at her like a three year old.

That day, Chiron asked us to meet him at a storage unit a few minutes near the building. When he heard us coming he turned and smiles. "Good. You came. I have a surprise."

"Better be a good one," grumbled Leo, "We've been carrying our stuff for who knows how long now."

Piper smacked him upside the head. "Don't be rude!"

"Okay! You hit hard." He mumbled rubbing the back of his head.

"Anyways," Annabeth said, "What's the surprise?"

Chiron cleared his threat. "I suppose you don't have a plan for transportation yet?"

We all smacked ourselves in the forehead on the same time. We've been busy planning where to go and all, that we forgot what we'll be going in. And of course, we wouldn't use Pegasus' or that crazy taxi that belongs to the three eyeless ladies. We're not that dumb.

"So I suppose that's our surprise? You got us a ride?" Jason guessed.

"You can say that." Chiron smiled. He walked over to the very back, and turned to a very old and rusted door. He took a key from his pocket and used it on the rusting knob. "I never thought I would use it."

He pushed open the door, and in the center of it all was a new looking Jeep Wrangler. It was a slick red color and just looked very modern. All of our jaws dropped. Well, then Annabeth and Piper looked confused.

"Wait, how are we all supposed to fit in there, along with our luggage?" Annie asked.

Chiron gave a warm smile. "Oh Annabeth, always so inquisitive. It's not a normal car, why it's a magical one."

"Uhh, but it doesn't really look like it." Leo said tilting his head.

"The magic is on the inside." He gestured to us. "You may take a look." I ran in front of them. I grabbed the handle, and opened the car door, in a slow peeking manner. I widened my eyes in the most widest size ever.

Inside, it had so much space in there! The front looked like a normal car, but there was about two more rows of seats and a good amount of space in the back for at least two more people, or our stuff. I kept looking inside and then looking at the car itself. It looked like a regular car, but inside was about the size of, well anything!

"One question...how?" I asked.

"Well, I had a friend, a son of Hecate years ago, and one day he surprised me with this as a thank you for saving him from danger." He said as if weren't such a cool thing.

"That's. So. Cool!" Leo and I said like little kids.

Jason looked at his leather watch. "I hate to break it, but we have to meet the guys in ten minutes."
