Chapter 4

Leo's P.O.V.

Yup. I'll admit it. I like Reyna. A lot as people can tell. I guess I can say I started liking her when I first saw her. It was a small crush at first though. But sadly, I kinda made a bad impression on the first day. What was it? Well, I kinda attacked her camp. But in my defense, it was all because I was "possessed" from the dirt lady, cough Gaea cough.

But after serious convincing, she hates me 55% less. And well, later on, I fell for her more and well. But soon, I'll convince her what she's missing out on the Leo Mcshizzle train.

It's been five hours since we left New York. Sundown was coming quick and we didn't know where we would crash at.

This time, in the front was Frank and Hazel, next row was Jason and Piper, then Annabeth and Reyna, and Percy, Nico and I were at the back. We started chitchatting about stuff.

"What have you always wanted to do?" Jason asked. "Like anything."

"Hmm, I've always wanted to go skydiving." Annabeth said. Everyone looked at her with a what face.

"What? He said anything."

Percy cleared his threat. "Well, I've always wanted to eat sushi." Everyone gasped.

"Wait, you're telling us that you've never eaten sushi before?" I said dramatically. "But aren't you the son of the sea god?"

"Dude. So cliche." Frank said.

"Fine, lets continue Faí." I said. He rolled his eyes.

"I always wanted to do something dangerous and risky."

"Don't we already do that almost 24/7?" Hazel asked putting an arm round his neck.

"Yeah, but I mean something that doesn't involve fighting monsters. Something like, eating a ghost pepper." Percy stifled a laugh.

"Well, until now, I want to try a chicken nugget." Hazel said.

"You still haven't tried one?" Piper asked. She shook her head.

"Okay well I always wanted to give someone a makeover." All eyes widened. "I know I know! But it's like a need. A curse for being a daughter of Aphrodite."

"Give one to Leo. He needs it." Jason joked. I punched him lightly.

"Whatever." I said.

"Valdez, what about you? What's something you've always wanted to do?" Reyna asked, looking intrigued.

"Actually, I always wanted to set a piñata on fire." I said.

"Wow. Burning a piñata. Remind me to put that on my bucket list." She said sarcastically. I blushed a little.

"What about you?"

"I really want to travel back to Puerto Rico so I can find more about my life." She replied.

I did a duck face. "Wow, that's deep." She shoved me in a playful way.

"Shut up."

I smirked at her. When she saw my face, she threw a crumb at me.

Percy's P.O.V.

Sundown went down faster than we expected. We stopped at a nearby motel. Leo and Jason went down to the front office to get a room. While they did that, we waited in the car. Once they returned, we brought the things we'd need. Jason opened the door with the key, and we all tilted our heads at the room. There was only two beds, a bathroom, and small tv.

"Well, about the beds...." Hazel started.

"You know," I said smirking at Annabeth, "We could do it like...you know." I wiggled my eyebrows.

Leo seemed to know what I meant. "Yeah. I get you." He tried to put an arm around Reyna.

Reyna dodged it. "Actually, I have another way." With a nod of her head, the girls ran toward the farthest bed, and jumped on it.

"Girls' bed!" They stated.

Us guys looked at each other nervously. "Uh, we don't think we could do that." Frank said.

"What ever do you mean?" Hazel asked.

"Well, what Frank meant was that we guys can't sleep together. We move too much." Jason explained.

"Well, now you can know how we feel then we're with you guys." Annabeth said.

"A taste of your own medicine." Reyna said. The girls all hi-fived each other.

That night, was probably one of the worst nights I've ever experienced. So all the girls were somehow coordinated to sleep peacefully with them all on the same bed. Yeah, no trouble for them. Lucky.

But us...there were five of us! Not to mention that when we sleep, we need space. At first, we all crammed on that one bed, but it was insanity I tell you. Plus, with Frank being big for his size, he crushed us under him. So then, I gave up and slept on the cold, hard floor. At least I wasn't the only one too. Nico and Jason left the crowdedness of the bed, leaving Frank and Leo to be. Sadly, we had hours before the sun came up. I guess sleepiness took over once again, and I fell into slumber.

I had another weird dream. In this one, I was in some sort of abandoned building. It looked very old. But then, the ground shook and rubble fell from up high. Too dangerous. Could probably collapse on top of me. I ran through what looked like the front. I stopped dead in my tracks, because there were two people standing in front of me. Using my stealth, I hid behind a huge chunk of stone. They seemed to be talking.

"This, this is what was meant to be. This is your destiny." Said a man in a menacingly voice.

Then the familiar voice of the girl replied, "No, this isn't real." I could see her more clearly. She had a purple cloak covering her. Her hands touched her head as if she had a headache.

"You know he'll break out of your mind Raven, one way or another." The man tried to touch her arm, but she swiped it, and somehow, he flew back almost to where I was at.

He walked, almost ran back to her. Again she tried to swipe again, but the man caught her by the arm. The girl, Raven groaned. Her arm started glowing.

"Lord Trigon will rise Raven. And you are the key to it." He whispered in her ear. It started to fade, but I can make out her trying to fight him. I tried to stay and help her, but then the sun made its way back in my eyes, and morning hit me like a bullet.

I looked around and glared at Leo and Frank. There, they both lay peacefully, without any difficulties. Plus, Frank turned into a bulldog. "He could've done that before." I grumbled, heading to the bathroom.

Hazel's P.O.V.

I was the second to last person to wake up. Reyna was still sleeping. She was clutching a pillow, and drool escaped from her mouth. From the corner of my eye, I saw Leo staring at her. I smiled. They'd look so cute together.

Later on, everyone took a shower and changed into new clothes. Percy was standing in the doorway with the key to the room.

"Oh room, thanks for letting us stay for the night," Here Percy squinted his eyes,"Even though the we slept horribly."

"What happened last night with you?" I asked.

"We'll speak of it later." He replied. He then left to the front office. Nico ran off with him. And, so did the rest of the guys.

"I wondered what happened." Annabeth said, laughing.

Ok this was a meh chapter I guess. Sorry I haven't updated in some time. I was just busy with school and all. But if you're still reading my book, thanks and much love. I hope you'll continue to read it. 💕
