Chapter 8 Pt. 2

Annabeth's P.O.V.

"Oh my gods you guys," Percy began, "Are you still talking about what y'all saw?"

"You didn't see it though, so you can't say nothin'," Jason said.

"Well yeah as you see, I'm driving and I can't really turn around so yeah."

I, who was still a little spooked, turned to face Nico. "Why would you show us that?"

Nico, who seemed neither scared nor terrified, replied by saying, "Hey you guys asked. I just did what you wanted."

"I asked, and I now regret doing so." Reyna said looking out the window with a blank stare.

Silence for a moment...

Leo had a happy face plastered on him, as usual. "Well, I thought it was good." The others looked at him, bewildered. "I just enjoyed the plot and how the way the person made the character." His eyes looked at Nico's. "You my man, have good taste in videos."

"So the video wasn't at all scary to you?" Hazel questioned. Leo shook his head.

"Wait, what did you all watch in the first place. I wanna know."

Frank explained to Percy. "It was a video about the origin of a made-up character who turned out to be a killer in the future; and throughout the video, someone had sketched, drawn, and colored a representation of how this person looked like. I think they called him Jeff The Killer."

"Ohh! You guys are talking about Creepypasta! I've seen a few videos myself before." Percy exclaimed.

"You have?" Everyone said it at the same time.

Percy rolled the window down, letting the breeze from outside hit him. "Ahh, this feels nice. Hmm, where was I?...Oh yeah. So I was doing this errand for my mom, blah blah blah, this person I saw was watching those origin stories, each video a different person."

Reyna swatted the air around her like there were something in the way. "Shhh, no more of this. Talk about something else. Please."

Shrugging my shoulders, I said, "Any idea then?" Hazel raised her hand in the air. "I do!"

Piper snickered at that. "This isn't school Hazel. You don't need to raise your hand." Embarrassed, Hazel put her hand down. "Anyway, do you guys like to lip sync?"

"I fear where this is going," Nico flatly replied. Hazel playfully smacked his arm. "C'mon, it'll be really fun."

"We should make this a challenge," I said confidently. "You always make everything a competition." Leo pouted.

"Just hear me out. Let's see..." I started to think of many ways. Maybe they have to sing in an accent. Or they forfeit something if they get the lyrics wrong. Wait...

"Whoever's turn it is has to sing the song that is playing on the radio."

"Alright Wise Girl, challenge accepted," Percy began. "Who's going first? Leo?"

"I would but I usually go first." He looked at Reyna and smirked. "What about you hermosa? You're already good at singing, so you must be good at lip syncing."

Reyna's cheeks flushed a light shade of red. "U-uh-uhh"

"Aw! Reyna's blushing!" Piper said.

Almost immediately, she responded by glaring at Piper, "No I'm not! And I don't want to go first either." Her cheeks flushed even more when Leo quickly winked at her. She just looked out the window again.
