Piper's P.O.V.

After we paid off the room at the motel and made a quick stop to McDonalds (Leo was constantly whining about him having the hungies), we were back on the road heading to western side of the country. And it was one hell of a ride.

Traveling through Ohio, Illinois, and Indiana was constant rain. Not to mention the cold weather. We hardly had any cold wear, so we sat there in the car, shivering and huddling as much as we could to make heat. I know, you might say, Well, can't Leo generate heat? It's not easy. Every time he tried to make it warm, a little flame would burst from his finger. We could risk it.

Kansas was pretty cool. There were pretty sunflower and wheat fields. And one of the cities we passed through, Wichita (I think) looked so beautiful at night. The lights of the city looked so pretty. Plus, this state seemed to have a warmer weather than the others.

Me and my big mouth. The next state we got was Colorado. Even though it was a beautiful state, the weather was fucked up. One hour would would be so sunny, and the next, cloudy and windy. And to make things worse, the car started to stutter. We all looked a little worried, well because we thought the car would stop automatically. Luckily, the tires kept moving. I heard someone sigh in relief.

Automatically? No. After about ten minutes, the tires moved slower and slower. Percy, who was now our "chauffeur" looked curiously out from the window. The stuttering noise got louder. Then, Percy pulled over to the side where the car stopped. Entirely. We all looked baffled.

"Um, this isn't really in my field." Percy said sheepishly while rubbing his neck. "Leo? Want to crack at it?"

His face beamed up. "Really? This day just got better!" He exited the car, pulled up the hood, and rolled up his sleeves. "Let's see, cmon baby, speak to me."

Reyna rolled her eyes. "Does he call everyone that?"

"Don't get jealous Rey, you'll always be my number one." He winked.

"Aww! What're you gonna say to that." I said poking her arm. Her cheeks flushed.

"No-nothing!" She stuttered.

"I so ship Leyna!" Hazel said.

"Ship?" Reyna asked suspiciously.

"Kind of like two people you wish were together." Annabeth said. The guys looked at her.

"Wise girl, how do you know about that? I didn't know you were a fan girl." Percy said amazed.

"Well watching Supernatural kinda got me going from that." She replied.

"Ships aside, we," She pointed at Leo, and then herself, "We will not end up together to satisfy you." Us girls looked disappointed.

"Oh why not?" I said. "He's like the whole package!"

"Then why don't you date him?" She asked.

"Cause...I already have a boyfriend." I said patting Jason's head.

"A cute, strong, and powerful one." Jason said. I rolled my eyes at him.
