LONGEST CHAPTER I'VE EVER WRITTEN 🙌🙌

Jason's P.O.V.

"WOO-HOO! VEGAS BABY!" Piper hollered at the crowded streets of the city of strip. Half of her body was out from the top window of the Jeep.

"Sounds like she's having a good time." Frank said staring at the side window.

"Maybe the best of her life." Percy said.

It was night by the time we came to Las Vegas. The city looked very bright from all the lights. Out on the sidewalks and streets were normal tourists, street performers, and a creepy looking Mickey Mouse taking pictures with some kids.

Piper's head ducked back down. "Where will we stay? Aria? Bellagio? MGM Grand? Caesar's Palace!?" Each suggestion sounded more enthusiastic.

"Girl, with what money?" Leo said shocked at her suggestions.

I heard Annabeth mutter, "Yolo guys.", from under her breath. My eyebrows raised up. Apparently, everyone else had too.

"Did I just..hear Wise Girl say YOLO?" Percy asked with a smirk etched on his face. Annabeth replied by making her lips form a tight line.

"Hey...you said it, not me."

"Surely there must be some place where they'll accept money. Or drachmas maybe." Hazel said quietly.

I stroked my chin. "Yeah, somewhere here, in this super popular city, there must be someplace for us." After I said that, Percy, Annabeth, and Nico shared a look. It seemed as if they were having a conversation with their eyes.

"Ac-" Percy began.

"No! Absolutely not. We can't risk it." Annabeth glared. Nico silently nodded in agreement.

"Wait, so there is a refuge for our kind?" Reyna said.

"There is, but it's not good. Not at all." Nico was staring out through the window.

"It's a trap. It's supposed to lure in half-bloods." Annabeth continued.

"And, it's bad how?" Piper asked unimpressed.

"You may never come out." Percy finished.

"Then how come you three are out?" Frank asked.

"Annabeth and me went when we were on the "Return the Lightning Bolt to Zeus" quest. A Persephone Pearl was hidden there and we needed it to get my mom back. And trust me, the place was amazing, but it had kept us inside for five days straight."

"So what about Nico?" Hazel asked. He continued to look at the window. Percy leaned in whispering, "He and Bianca had been there for many years."

"Decades?" Frank asked bewildered.

"Yes." Annabeth said, "We try not to bring it up when he's around since you...his sister." Hazel solemnly nodded. The noise inside quieted own quickly. The only noise was the commotion from out the window Leo had left down.

Something shiny and bright had caught my eyes from out. "Hey, is this the place you're talking about?" I pointed to a hotel which was blinking in various colors, from red to purple. The front look completely packed with people.

Annabeth glared. "That's it. The Lotus Casino." Leo's eyes lit up.

"Ooh, can we go on there?"

"Did-did you not hear what we said about the casino?" Percy asked looking annoyed, "That place is bad, very bad. We should pro-"
