A/N
I'm a butt...I know. :) First off, I want to say a SUPER SORRY for putting off this lil project of mine! I've wanted to write, but honestly I didn't have the time or power to do so. Hopefully y'all forgive me on this, and enjoy this next chappie! :)

Raven's P.O.V.
I woke up with a pounding headache. Each time I had that flashback, it'd leave me more and more exhausted. I turned my head to read the clock: 5:51. Well, no use going back to sleep.

I slipped on my suit and quietly exited my room and into the living room. No one was up yet, so I made my way up towards the roof. Once there, the sun greeted me with its warmth. I felt my lips curling into a light smile, but then suddenly stopped; I suddenly realized how important and special the sun was. How every little thing here on Earth mattered. I couldn't let my father take this away. And I wasn't going to let him.

I sat by the edge of the roof, my legs dangling from the edge of the T. I took a few deep breaths and began to meditate to get rid of all the negative feelings I had within me. But before I could began, a voice startled me.

"It's nice huh?"

It was Robin. He sat beside me. "The sunrise. I'm always awake early so I can see it."

I kept quiet, but I slightly nodded in agreement.

"Just to let you know, we're always by your side whenever you need us." The thing about Robin, he always kept his distance. He wasn't nosy like the others. If we didn't want to say it, he'd respect that. That's what I found great about him.

Together, we silently watched the sun rise together. He was right though, watching the sunrise was not only beautiful but therapeutic as well.

"You were right Robin." I told him once the sun had finished rising.

"Right about what?"

"It really is nice." He smiled in return. Almost immediately, he got up and stretched his legs.

"Well that was relaxing. You want to head back?" He extended a hand to me.

"Hm? Oh, sure." I took his hand and stood up as well. "One more thing."

"Yeah?"

"Thanks for respecting my privacy. I know I've been acting a bit hostile lately, but I promise this act will pass on soon."

"It's okay Raven, honestly. You're going through something, and I get it if you don't want to tell us about it. Everyone deserves their own privacy once in a while."

In light of all of this, it was the first time in a while where I genuinely smiled. "You're an ama-"

The door swung open with such loudness that it scared both Robin and I. We stood there to see Starfire in an eager mood.

"Friends! You must come the quick! Beast Boy is making the breakfast for us! Please come quick!" And with that, she flew back downstairs. We looked at each other, and in a silent agreement, we made our way to the doors.

Percy's P.O.V.

"Thanks for taking the wheel." I said to Reyna. I didn't want to risk anything, so we stopped by a local liquor store to switch.

"It's no big deal. The others were able to spend some time buying snacks."

"She's right!" Leo said as he munched on a cinnamon roll. "Good roll man."

"Close your mouth. We don't wanna see what's in there." Piper said closing her eyes. "Some people don't have tough tummies."

"Whatever Drama Queen! HAHAHAH-" Even with her eyes closed, she still managed to punch Leo in the jaw. He retracted himself from her punching zone and put a hand on his jaw.

"Owie...anyone have ice? It hurts."

"You had it coming." Nico replied, his eyes completely focused on his phone.

Reyna threw her bottle of water at Leo. "It's probably not going to help, but it's the closest thing to a cold pack."

Leo's eyes lit up. "Wow Rey, that's...the nicest thing you've done to me in well, forever!"

This made her flush scarlet in return. "D-Don't think I-I'm going to c-continue doing this!" She turned her face to the window.

"Hey Annabeth," asked Jason, "How much road do we still have to cover until we make it to that 'station?'"

Annabeth checked her watch. "According to the what I see, we're almost there. I'd say 40 minutes, give or take."

"So once we refill the tank, what happens next?" Hazel fidgeted with her seat belt, which Frank fixed almost immediately.

"Hmm, well there's some pretty good tourist attractions there. We could stop by there." Frank suggested.

"I just realized, we have so much in San Francisco, but we've never been able to visit!" Jason suddenly exclaimed.

"That's cause we always getting targeted by monsters who want to skin us by our toes." Frank replied.

"We're never going have a normal life huh?" Leo contemplated.

"No, but why would you live like an ordinary Joe? Normal's boring dude." Piper said. "I'd take this life over any life. It's...challenging."

Reyna nodded to agree. "Alright then." She then turned on the car. "Buckle up guys, we still have more to drive."

Minutes later

I decided to rest in the back since there was way more space to lay down; Leo wanted to take shotgun, but Nico beat him to it. Annabeth, who was still concerned for my well-being, sat right next to me, which I didn't mind whatsoever. I rested my head on her lap, and she gently caressed the stray hairs on my face. Whenever she did this, I knew she was anxious about something.

"How you feeling?" She asked me.

"I've been better. But what about you?"

"What do you mean? I'm fine." I looked at her harder. "What! I really am!"

"C'mon Wise Girl...tell me what's up, Pweez?" I attempted the puppy eyes, something she always falls for.

She sighed. "Ahh, alright. I'm well, scared for you Seaweed Brain."

"Scared? What do you mean?"

"Don't play tricks on me Perce, you've been getting worse and worse ever since I confronted you about it a while back. Is there something that I don't know," She took my hands into hers, "You know I'm always going to be there for you. If it's something you can't handle, I'm here. I'll help you." Her face looked very depressed. "I just can't imagine anything bad happening to you, and that I couldn't do anything to prevent it."

Slowly, I rose up to brush a stray tear from Annabeth's cheek. "Nothing bad is going to happen to me, but if something comes up, I'm never separating from you again. Didn't like it the first few times."

She buried her face into my chest, and after a minute or two, I came to realize that she had fallen asleep peacefully. Her facial expression looked so serene, and I couldn't help but wish that she wouldn't feel so worried over me; if anything, I worried more for her.
