Josh- Never Coming Home

Josh Dun, a legendary soldier, a good father, a loving husband.

"What?!" I cried out but I quickly wiped my single tear that streamed down from my face after I heard what Josh said

He said he would be on a mission, to stop a very dangerous war.

"Well, I have to do this for the country" he held my hand, trying to calm me down

"Josh, I- I just don't want you to get seriously injured or even worse.."

He had to explain, "YN, that's my job. I'm in the army. I get paid for keeping this place safe from danger and terrorists. I have to do it. We'll go on the war like in next week"

My heart sank and shattered. "I want you to be save, Babe" he pulled me into a tight hug

Untill our daughter came downstairs, on her pink pajamas, messy hair and she brought her sodt brown teddy bear with her as she cheerfully awoke from her dreamy sleep

"Daddy! You're home!" she was too short so Josh's feet were embraced but then he knelt and hugged her so tight like she was made of diamond. She was.

A sweet smile formed, he stroked our daugther, Rose's hair and greeted her, "Good evening, Princess. It's almost 9, why don't you sleep?"

She put her hands behind her, "I had been waiting for you to come home Daddy. You are never home. Why?" she whined

Josh chuckled but he was also between sad. He said to Rose as he grabbed her tiny hand, "It's because you always have fallen asleep whenever I just get back home" he kissed her hand

"Okay Rose, it's time for you to sleep" YN ordered

"Okay Mommy" she rubbed her tired eyes as she yawned

"Josh, lead her to bed" YN smiled and she went to Josh and her room

Rose was already on the bed

"Daddy... You're a hero right?"

"I'm just a man. I'm not a hero"

She shrugged, "Well you save people from evil"

"So I'm kinda a hero"

"Daddy, is it true that soldiers go to war?" she asked as she pouted

Josh could only face her daughter and exhaled, "Well, I'm going on a war next week. Don't worry I will save you all and I will be fine" he hugged Rose

"Now keep your glowing eyes shut. Good night Rose, sweet dreams" he kissed her forehead

A day before he had to go, YN got worried sick. She feared about Josh getting serious injury. "Joshua...." she always called her husband Joshua instead of Josh when she's scared or sad

"Yes YN?" he walked to her

She gave him a soft loving embrace and whispered to his ear, "You know I love you right?"

He put both of his hands on her sides, rubbing them and stopped when they reached her waist. He didn't answer her mellow question. But he eventually replied with a deep passionate kiss. She kissed back. Her hands tangled around his neck as he pulled his wife closer. She pulled away

He nuzzled onto her neck and they both giggled
