Tyler's P.O.V.
"Do I really love her?" you questioned as you sat on the edge of your bed. You had been thinking about her for hours and she won't leave your head. You had been keeping your thoughts with you for a while now, and it was eating you up.
It was now ten in the morning and you have been up since five. Sleep wasn't something that you really needed at this point. You had gone without it for about a week now.
You decided that maybe a walk in the park would help you decide on your feelings, so you changed and left your apartment.
As you were walking around the park you saw a rose bush, "Hmm." you smiled to yourself, "What a pretty rose, just like y/n."
You continued to walk around the park and of course, to your luck, you saw y/n with her "boyfriend". "There was no way that he could love her more than I do," you mumbled to yourself as you saw them walking hand in hand, kissing every once in a while.
"Did I just say I love her?" you mumbled. At this point you had made your mind up, "I think I truly love her." But then you remembered there was someone else in the picture, her boyfriend.
You didn't want to ruin her relationship though. She seems happy and you could never take that from her, even though she hasn't meant it be with him. So you weren't going to ruin anything, but you just need to know one thing, does she love me too?
You spent a week planning on how you were going to ask her. And then an idea popped into your head "The roses from the park."
You returned to the park a couple of days later to retrieve a rose. You searched for the most perfect looking one. When you found the rose, you carefully picked it off the bush, trying not to get thorns stuck in your skin.
You then texted her after to see if she could meet you at the park in about fifteen minutes.
She responded with, "okay we'll be there soon."
"Great she wants to bring him." you sighed.
You texted her back, "Is there any way you could come alone?"
"Okay?" she replied.
In a matter of minutes she arrived at the park, looking more confused then I have ever seen her. She walked over to where I was sitting and sat down with me.
It was awkward at for a moment, so you decided to just tell her. "I have something to tell you," you told her. She replied with a nod.
You placed the rose in front of her. You took a depends breath before the words came out of your mouth. "I'm not tryna start a fire, with this flame. But I'm worried that your heart might feel the same. And I have to be honest with you baby. Tell me if I'm wrong, and this is crazy. But I got you this rose and I need to know. Will you let it die or let it grow?"
Will she let this love flourish and blossom into something beautiful, or will she turn away and believe that she is in love with the person she wasn't meant to be with?
