You grabbed his hands and dragged him down the street that leads to your apartment. This is going to be the best three days I have ever had, well according to Josh ...
The whole walk to your apartment was filled with laughter. It felt nice being able to physically talk with Josh. Texting was nothing compared to this. The both of you walked inside of your apartment, "Wow, nice apartment" he said.
"Thanks it took me forever to finish decorating it," you said feeling proud of your hard work.
You finally snapped back to reality when Josh started to call your name, "Earth to y/n??"
"Oh ... Umm sorry. I got lost in my thoughts."
"It's okay Sunshine."
You blushed at the new nickname. "So where can I put my things?"
"You can put it in the spare room. Here, let me show you."
You lead him down the small hallway into the room he was going to be staying in for the next few days.
He placed his luggage down and you waited by the door frame. "So I did some research before I came and saw that the fair is going to be in town today. Would you like to go with me?" he said scratching the back of his neck.
"Like on a date?" you replied.
"Only if you want it to be," he said looking nervous.
"Okay, let's go," you said grinning like crazy.
You took a hold of his hand and dragged him down the hallways of your apartment until you reached the elevator. You pressed the button with the "G" which lead to the garage that your car was parked in.
You unlocked the car hopping into the driver's seat, Josh mirroring your actions but instead sat in the passenger's seat.
*Skip car ride because I can ...*
You got in line to buy the entrance tickets for you and Josh. There wasn't a super long line, so you didn't have to wait a long time.
"How many tickets can I get ya?" asked a teenage girl who was working at the counter.
"Two, please."
"That will be thirty dollars." you were going to give the girl the money, but you were too late. Josh had already given the money to the girl, paying for the tickets.
"Thanks for the ticket," you said as he handed you the piece of paper.
"You're welcome beautiful."
You walked around hand in hand, having the best time you have had in a while. He seemed pretty happy as well.
After a while of walking, the both of you stopped at a booth. After playing the carnival game in the booth, Josh had won a small teddy bear off of the game. "Awww, thanks, Josh," you said smiling as he handed you the bear.
At this point, you had gone on about every ride except the Ferris wheel. "Well time to get going don't you think?" you said practically dragging him out.
"But we haven't gone on the Ferris wheel yet?" he said.
You stopped in your tracks, "It's fine if we miss one ride." you told him as you continued to dragged him to the entrance.
"But I really want to get on it y/n," he said pouting.
"Fine," you said beginning to feel scared.
You had waited in line a good ten minutes before it was your turn to go next. Josh was the first one to sit down, you followed. You felt it begin to move and everything was surprisingly fine, well that was until your cart stopped at the highest point.
"Look at how pretty the vie- Y/n are you okay?" he said as he noticed you had begun to shake uncontrollably.
No words came out of your mouth. The panic attack completely took over you at this point. You assumed that he knew you were having a panic attack due to his advice,"Breath in and out. It's going to be okay. The ride is almost over." He engulfed you in a hug, trying to calm you down.
You listened to his words and began to breathe. The panic began to fade away once the ride began to move once again.
You practically ran off the Ferris wheel on to the ground leaving Josh behind,"I'm sorry for putting you through that."
"It's fine Josh. I wasn't your fault, you didn't know." you gave him a reassuring smile as you took hold of his hand once again, walking through the exit which leat to the parking lot your car was in.
Josh's P.O.V.
I feel bad for causing y/n's panic attack, so after we left the fair we stopped by an ice cream shop to get some ice as an apology for what had happened earlier. Let's just hope I didn't ruin my chances with y/n.
