Josh - Somethings Are Out of My Control

Josh and I were having one of those weeks that was filled with constant fighting over little things. Him being in the studio all day made things worse and him leaving for tour soon really wasn't helping the situation either. He was always gone, the separation and distance were finally getting to me. Is he even really my boyfriend at this point? It was the first time in forever that I really started to doubt our relationship, I just couldn't hold it in anymore.

I left work early because of how physically and emotionally tired I am. I also left early because I wanted to have a proper talk with Josh. I just want to know if this relationship is worth it anymore. I hear the door open and my heart instantly drops. I got up from my bed and began to walk towards the stairs, but stopped mud tracks when I heard him talk.

"I think I'm losing her." sadness filled his voice, "I don't know how to fix it Tyler, I don't know how to convince her to stay." Both of the walk over to the kitchen stools and seat down. I walked closer to the stairs not knowing if I should walk down.

"Come on Josh, don't think like that. If you love her, you will fight for her. You guys have gone through so much to end it now. Jou can't give up now." Josh's face was now resting in his palms as Tyler finishes talking.

"I did everything I can think of, but some things are out of my control. I can't change how busy we are. This is my career my life and I could lose her because of it. I ... I can't ..." he couldn't get the rest of the words out of his mouth. Tyler begins to rub his back as he no longer knew what to say.

I decided to head downstairs now. "Josh," I say, slowly walking up to him. I lifted his face out of his hands and took a hold of them. "I guess you heard everything now," he said sadly.

"Hey, look at me. I'm not going anywhere, you're not going to lose me." we were both staring into each other's eyes now.

"Sometimes I forget how much you love me," I say trying to lighten up the mood.

"I love you," Josh tells me.

"I love you to baby," I said as I pull him in for a kiss. We begin to hear "Awwwwws" from Tyler who we had forgotten was sitting right next to us ... oops.
