Jynx stood by the entrance of the Hidden Leaf Village waiting with her arms crossed. Her hair was out of any part holding it back. Her bangs were fully in her face instead of tucked back behind her ear, nothing motherly radiating off of her. "With Kakashi gone, we have to stay on our toes. Got it?" A low growl came from above on one of the doors. Kurogane laid on top of the door lazily with one paw stretched out all the way. "If anything, I want you to go back and get my children." Kurogane leaped down back to the ground and began walking along Jynx's side as she headed into the Village. The sun was still up, but nearing the mark of end of day. She sighed and ran up above jumping across rooftops instead of using the streets for mobility.

Jynx watched the stores begin to close, families went inside, and children were returning from school. Late from the long classes as usual. Jynx snickered remembering the school days. She quickly saw a group of people gathering in the streets talking. She lowered herself like a cat and sauntered closer. She kept her stance and kept her moves quiet as she got onto the rooftop closest to the men. Her feline familiar was hiding in the shadows next to the men already. Kurogane always was someone to have trust in when going out on a hunt.

She noticed the guy with dirty blonde hair as Inoichi Yamanaka. She saw Ibiki Morino along with two others. One had wrappings across over half of his face, covering his eyes and around the head. The other man with them had long bangs on either side of his face that nearly covered his eyes, but the rest of his hair was shorter towards the back. Each of them wore the traditional outfit of a pewter grey button up shirt, with pressed pants of the same color. Each had their own perks of what they wanted to used as weapons attached to their belts as well.

Jynx got a bit closer, as much as possible without being seen, and got a better look at the people. Just as she got closer, the man with the wrap around his face looked up in Jynx's direction. The wind picked up and strands of her hair flew over the edge and at the people. Quickly, she retreated, causing more commotion and the whole group to go on high alert. Jynx jumped down to the street and quickly sprinted across to the next corner. She hid herself along the extra wall and sighed as she backed up farther away from the edge. She nearly screamed as she backed up into a body that seemed impossibly too large.

"So what was she talking about?," Shiru said in between bites of food. Thorn was digging into the food as well and making slurping noises as he drank the soup. "It sounded very serious."

Rose nodded as she took a sip of her tea. She then opened her eyes after she set the cup down onto the table. "The thing is, there must be people after her for something. There was this man in a long black cloak dressed all set for like some kind of mission. He looked like a master of something. He was really tall. Like seven feet almost. He just towered over her like a shadow of a giant. But she never gave him any time of day. She stood her ground as if she was the giant mother giving a scolding. It was all scary and went by so quickly. I guess some guy tried to talk to her before. Maybe before we had met her, but they found him near the memorial place thingy he said, but he was also unconscious. So, that might have been a few days that he was knocked out or just the other day, I have no clue." Rose smiled and ate some chicken slices and took a drink of her tea to wash the rest down smoothly. "It was amazing, but so very scary. I was so scared of him. I almost really wanted to run away."

Shiru piped in with a mouthful of food, "You're probably scared of a lot of things girl. Not me though. I'm tougher than a rock."

Thorn smirked and shook his head, "You don't know anything about her. She might be a someone important to the rest of the world. I don't see why you need to belittle her for no apparent reason." Thorn went back to finishing almost a whole fish. "Plus, a rock is not the hardest thing in this world. I think your stubbornness might be though."
