Uneasiness (ep. 19)

The group sat around on the floor, with Jynx high on the bed telling again all that she knew about her life and living as a secret anbu kunoichi and growing up living a lie. She told as much as she knew about her family curse. She went on about her grudge to the Anbu and mainly Danzo with how he has treated her and her husband.

"Since my mother told me about being cursed at a young age, I never thought too much of it. I never thought, one day, it would be real. I thought it was more similar to an urban legend instead. And it only happened because I have Chinoike blood in my veins and also that I fell in love with an Uchiha blooded man. My parents could've even had the same thing, the curse run between their lives instead of mine, but my father's death was not by the hands of his lover." Jynx took a breath relaxing some, "I don't know you guys. Everyone says how bad he is. All I remember is the good in him. He was truly a kind child. We rescued a black panther cub when we were younger even." Jynx held her hands in her lap and stared at them. By this time she had tissues where she was wiping her eyes. She had most of her make up off leaving her to look younger than she would with make up on. She tucked her bangs behind her right ear once again and smiled at her students. Her mole under her right eye was visible and she shrugged it off. There was no point in trying to hide it anymore.

Her students all sat back with their minds full of information. Each one of them were trying to make sense of everything. Jynx stood up and headed to the doorway. She watched them all sitting around in silence for a moment.

After leaving the room, she walked past the kitchen side door that lead to the outside. The night was dull, soft whispers of the wind separated the flutter of the tree's leaves from bird's wings. Jynx went to Kuro who was sitting on the rocks by the koi pond. He gave a soft growl and seemed to notice something around him that kept him on edge. Jynx felt it right away. The presence of another in the area, their eyes following her every move.

Unknowingly to her, the students rushed into Shiru's room in order to peer out her smaller window watching their Sensei.

A large black bird landed on the porch's railing. It's caw rang through the night. Jynx turned around in time to see it fluttering it's wings at her. In the seconds it took Jynx to turn, a tall shadow appeared behind her.

The students stared in absolute fear for their teacher for the unknown of what was going to happen. They waited patiently to see how she would fight her new attacker.

Kuro stood up slightly to barge his way between his master and the shadowed figure, but due to his pain of being injured he could not. The feline instead stood up and growled louder. Jynx turned around in a flash with her hand reaching for her hidden kunais wrapped along her thigh right away. She spaced herself and bent her left leg down to the side keeping her right foot stretched in front of her in preparation of an attack. She held her left hand ready with her first two fingers straight and her last two and thumb tucked in her palm.

Rose gasped loudly as she noticed in the soft moonlight the red cloud pattern on the cloak that the dark figure was wearing. "That's the same as the other two people who attacked her before when she protected me!"

Thorn nodded to Rose and grabbed his things quickly, "We need to go help her. We cannot let her fight alone. Especially with how she's feeling right now. Plus there might be more people, and it would be best if we could make sure she's not in danger. She's hurting badly and her mind won't be were she needs it to fight right now." Shiru and Rose both nodded in unison. They all three ran out the door as quick as they could, forgetting to put their shoes on even.

Each student went out ready for blood. Thorn was first, with his right hand he held his small blade tightly behind his back waiting for the perfect moment to draw it, but his left held the sheathed real katana that he was using to get used to swinging a real metal weapon instead of using Jynx's heir loomed one. He ran on top of the shrine behind Jynx and the man hoping to jump off of it to make a landing onto the man without his noticing. Shiru went around to flank his right side with her two metal sai weapons that she had been keeping in her room to practice on her own time. Rose went on the side with Kurogane, she kept her position crouched and kept her new metal staff low making sure she wasn't seen.
