Yvette's POV

I wake up in the morning with Erik's strong arms wrapped around my sides. Smiling, I snuggle deeper into his arms. I could stay like this forever. Well, maybe not forever. I cover my mouth and leap out of bed, rushing towards the bathroom.

I empty what little is left in my stomach and flush the toilette. I stand up and grab the wash rag Erik had left by the sink last night, wiping of my lips. What was wrong with me? Was it the spaghetti I had eaten last night? No, it couldn't have been. Sighing, I walk back over to where Erik was peacefully sleeping.

He looked so content and relaxed when he was sleeping. I smile and crawl back in bed next to him, Erik stirs and stretches his muscular arms above his head. Biting my lip, I watch him as he slowly wakes up. His dreamy brown eyes open and gaze into mine, a smile appears on his face. He pulls me close to him and kisses me deeply, his hand resting on my back side.

I giggle against the kiss, I love him so much, moving my hands, they tangle it in his dark black hair. After a few minutes, we break the kiss, out of breath. Oh how I loved this man.

"Erik, I love you." I say bluntly. He smirks.

"Yvette, I love you." Erik says, matching my serious tone. "Perhaps we should see if we can get a doctor to see what is wrong with you, my love."

"But that means that I would have to leave you." I say pouting. Erik chuckles and kisses my forehead.

"Don't worry, I'll see you soon enough." I nod, standing from the bed.

"Walk me to my room?" I question him. He smiles and stands, offering me his hand I take it.

"Madame Giry, I am not feeling well. Would you mind if I took of rehearsal today to find a doctor?" I wring the skirt of my dress in my hands, asking the scary lady in front of me for a day off. She waves her hand at me.

"There is no rehearsal today child, go and see if your sister is here. If she is not, I will go with you to find a doctor." I nod and scamper off to Lotte's room.

Her door is shut when I arrive, I knock.

"Come in!" I hear her voice call. I smile and enter her room. I turn and see her sitting on her bed reading a book. Her face lights up when she sees me.

"Lotte! I have a favor to ask you." She nods eagerly awaiting my question. "Would you go with me into town to find a doctor? That is if you and Raoul don't have any plans." I smirk after I say the last sentence. Her face flushes red for a second.

"Of course I'll go with you. Whatever is wrong with you? Are you sick?" She asks, scrambling off her bed and over to me.

"I'm not sure, I've been throwing up all night and a large portion of yesterday. That's why I need to see a doctor."

"Oh, right. Well give me a minute to change and I'll be ready." I thank her and exit her room, heading to mine. I change into a simple green dress. Rushing over to my vanity, I quickly throw some makeup onto my scar.

Heading to my closet, I reach for my coat and feel a weird fabric I had never felt before. Scrunching my eyebrows together, I pull out the mysterious article of clothing. It is one of Erik's cloaks I see him wearing around the opera house.

I pull on his cloak and I'm instantly engulfed in the smell of roses, paper, and a slight muskiness from him being down in the lair so often. There is a small note attached to the cloak, I pull it off and read it.
