Chapter 2: Proposal Pt. 1

5am Chrys's Pov

Due to my training, I'm used to getting up at 5am. I got up and dressed in casual clothing and put to the livingroom making coffee. It was great to be home. I learned my friend Jasmine lives in the next city over from mine.

Sadly, she's still fighting for a couple more weeks before she goes home. I sighed to myself. I unconsciously touched my left patch. I shook my head lightly, putting my hand down. I knew Rose and Ivy won't be up for a while so I went and decided to clean up around the house downstairs.

7:30am

I finished cleaning up downstairs. I went to the kitchen and started cooking breakfast. I heard rose and I's bedroom door open upstairs. I looked over as rose walked down stairs. "Morning Detective" I said to her. "Morning..." she mumbled to me. I chuckled and handed her a cup of coffee.

She took the coffee, mumbled a thank you, kissed my cheek then went to the livingroom. I smiled a bit and continued cooking. Ivy came down a bit later. I finished cooking and handed ivy a plate. I then got a plate for Rose and went to livingroom. I sat next to rose and gave her a plate of food.

She thanked me and ate. I smiled and went off upstairs to clean. I didn't touch Ivy's room because she keeps her room clean. I finished cleaning in 30 minutes. I went back downstairs and sat in the livingroom.

Rose's Pov

I finished eating and put my dish in the dishwasher along with Ivy's. Ivy ha does back upstairs to study a bit. I came out to the livingroom and saw Chrys sitting in a chair, leaned back eyes closed, armed folded on her chest. I tilted my head slightly in confusion.

I walked over to her and poked her. "Hm?" Is all I got from Chrys. "You okay Chrys?" I asked her. She nodded in response. She sat up and opened her eye, "yeah I'm fine just thinking..." I nodded and she stood up. "It's gonna take awhile to get use to you being taller than me now..." I said to her. She chuckles and leans down a bit, "same here with you being shorter than me."

"Anywho, I'll be back." Chrys said standing straight and walking to the front door. "Where are you going?" I asked her. "Can't tell you, it'll ruin the surprise I have for you..." said Chrys walking out the door. I smiled a bit then sat down to watch tv.

Unknown location no ones Pov

Ruth stood in the room with a huff. She faced a shadowed man. "So what do you propose?" She asked. The man smirked, "We work together. End this little team of hers..."

Ruth smiled and brought out her hand, "It's a deal Archer" Archer stepped out of the shadows and shook Ruth's hand, "very well ruth."

"She arrived home yesterday" said ruth to Archer. Archer just smirked, "perfect. Who do we target first?" Ruth had just the idea of who.

"How about her little friend, Leandre"
