Chapter 13: Guardian's powers

Just about when someone was going to call the ambulance. The sword dissappeared and reappeared on the ground. Chrys's wounds healed to scars. Chrys woke up and sat up. "God dam that hurt...." said Chrys standing up. Cupid landed beside her, "How did you...?" "I've always been able to do this..." she said to him.

He blinked in surprise, "what...?" "I've always been able to do this...it only heals wounds into scars..." she said to him, "Now I have to get home..." she said to cupid. "I'll go with you. I uh, wanna stop by and say hello" He said to Chrys. Chrys nods and flies up then goes home.

Chrys's Pov

I sighed as I landed but mine and Rose's home. Cupid landed beside me. "You sure your okay?" Cupid asked me. "I'm fine. I'll be sore for a while...it's nothing I can't handle" I said to him. He nods and we go inside. I check the papers them the time. No one needed their medication yet.

I went upstairs to see Rose. I opened the door slightly. I saw her sit up a bit. Our eyes met, I saw the fear in her eyes as they turned to relief. I walked in and sat beside her. "I heard the explosions...." said Rose to me. "I won...cupid helped me..." I said to her. I pointed to the door and she looked. She saw cupid leaning against the doorframe.

"Hey detective" He said to her. She smiled a little, "Hey cupid..." He looked at me, "I have to go. See ya later" with that said he disappeared. "Chrys..." Rose said. I looked at her, she tugged on my sleeve as she layed down. I layed beside her, she cuddled close to me. I chuckled a bit and hugged her gently.

Rose fell asleep a couple minutes later. I slowly got up and walked downstairs. I froze when a saw a dark figure standing in the room. My eyes narrowed once I know who it was. "Ruth" I said growling. "Hello Chrys" said ruth to me. She walked towards me and I growled at her.

'Big mistake coming here...'
