Chapter 3: Proposal Pt. 2

Rose's Pov

I heard the front door open. I looked and saw Chrys walk in and over to me. She sat next me and I lean onto her. "Your were gone a long time..." I mumbled. She just chuckles and response with, "the cashier was taking forever..." I chuckled a bit and nuzzled close to her.

She put her arm around me. Ivy came out, "Hey mom" "Yes ivy?" Asked Chrys. "Can Aster come over? she wants to get away from her parents for a few days..." Ivy asked. Chrys nods, "of course! Aster is always welcome here" Ivy walked away and Chrys looked at me.

"What's going on at Aster's house?" She asked me. I sat up and looked at her, "her parents are mad that Aster chose teaching instead of a scientist career....they are trying to pressure her out of it..." Chrys's eye darken which scared me. "Aster can move in here if she wants to...I know she's only 16 but if she wants to she can" Chrys told me. I nodded, "I agree with you...aster doesn't deserve this..."

Chrys was still clearly pissed with what's going on. I kissed her cheek gently. Then I undid Chrys's hair so it fell to her shoulders. I brought my hand up and combed my hand through her hair. She relaxed at my touch and lean to it. I knew this would calm her down. I always do this when she's in a angry mood.

A knock on the door interrupted us. Chrys stood and opened the door letting Aster in. Chrys had the look of anger once more then I realized why. There on Aster's cheek, was a bruise. My eyes narrowed as well. "Aster" said Chrys to her. She looked at Chrys, "yes?" "I'd like you to move in...so you won't have to deal with this anymore..." Chrys said to Aster.

Aster dropped her bag full of clothes and hugged Chrys tightly. "Thank you....thank you so much..." she said to Chrys. Chrys smiled gently and hugged her gently, "Your welcome. Now go on upstairs, your girlfriend is waiting for you." Aster nods, grabs her bag then runs upstairs. Chrys walked back over to me.

I noticed a worried look in her eye as she stood in front of me. "What's wrong?" I asked her in worry. "Nothing wrong it's just...." she started then went on one knee in front of me. I was confused for a second as to why she was on one knee. Then it clicked as soon as I saw the small black box in her hand.

"C-Chrys?" I said stuttering. She let out a breath before speaking, "Rose, we've been together for three years now...in those years, my love for you grew more and more....so..." Chrys paused an opened the box revealing a  ruby ring. The ring was silver with a golden heart shape in the center was a red ruby in the shape of a heart.

"Rose blossom....will you marry me?" Asked Chrys to me. Tears filled my eyes. I was in complete shock. Chrys was asking me to marry her. I managed to utter out 'yes' before hugging her. She slipped the ring on my finger and kissed me. After a bit we pulled away from the kissed but stayed hugging.

'I'm marrying the one I truly love....my hero...my protector....Chrys Stargazer...'
