Chapter 9: Resting from the pain.

Chrys's Pov at the hospital 10 pm

The doctors took my friends away to aid them. I sat in the waiting room. People moved away from me in fear. I didn't really care though, I'm just worried about everyone. Doctors walked out taking other people in to see their love ones. I sighed and went to the restroom to see if I turned back to normal. Only my wings were present. 

I walked out to my car and grabbed my jacket. I covered my wings with it them went back inside. I sat back down and stayed silent. A little girl with golden brown, curly hair and bright green eyes sat next to me. Her mom wanting her to come back to her. She poked my arm and I looked at her. "yes?" I said to her. "Can I see your wings?" She asked me. I thought for a second then nodded. I took my jacket off showing my wings to her.

She poked my demon wings then my angel wing. She giggled and touched my angel wing. "It's so soft" She said. I smiled a little, my angel wing moved slightly. My hearing was still not normal, I could hear the girl's heartbeat. By her heartbeat's rhythm I can tell she isn't afraid of me. She giggled again, hugs me, then goes back to her mom. I put my jacket back on and leaned back in the chair. Listing to everything around me. 

"Miss please calm do-"

"Chrys! where's Chrys!?"

I sat up alerted to Rose's panicked voice. I stood up listening again. 

"Miss she's right out in the waiting room, Now please cooperate with us"

"Chrys!"

I walked over to where the doors that led to the hospital rooms. "Miss, You can't go in there without permission" said a nurse. I growled and glared at her. She was frightened by me automatically. "My fiancé is gonna have a panic attack if I don't go in there" I said to the nurse.

"Now what room is she in?" I asked her calmly. "233 m-miss." She stuttered. "Thank you" I said going through the doors. I walked down the hall the doctors and nurses staring at me but said nothing. I found the room and opened the door. 

The doctor looked at me, "Mame you can't be in here" I wasn't focused on him. My eye scanned the room till I caught sight of Rose. Rose was curled up shaking in fear. I walked forward, the doctor stepped in my way. "Mame you can't-" I cut him off by grabbing him. "Get out of my way" I growled, dropping him. He moved away quick, and grabbed the radio. No doubt to call security on me. I didn't give a dam as I walked over to Rose.

"Rose..." I said to her, setting a hand on her gently. She flinched and shook more. "Shh...Its just me my Rose, Chrys" I said to her. She slowly looked up, "C-Chrys?" She stuttered in fear. I nodded setting a hand on her cheek, "It's me dear. Your safe now." 

She stopped shaking knew she knew it was me. I hear footsteps and looked over. I saw two security officers walk in. My eyes narrowed slightly as Rose shook in fear again. I ignore them and went back to calming Rose again. "Mame, Please go back to the waiting room" Said one of the security officers.

I sighed and stood straight and started to walk out. Rose grabbed my hand, "No...don't go..." Rose said to me. I looked at the security officers, "She doesn't want me to go" One didn't seem to care as he walked over making Rose let go of me. I snapped and hit the guard that touched Rose. "Don't you dare touch her!" I shouted in anger. 

"Sir, the patient doesn't want this young lady here to leave. I suggest we leave her alone." Said the second guard. I growled at first as he stood. He glared at me but walked out with the second. I looked at the doctor, "next time ask who I am before you call security," not caring about the doctor anymore I stayed beside Rose. I see him walk back over to me and Rose.

He gave rose some pain meds. She fell asleep pretty quick. I combed my hand through her hair lightly. "Miss. Would your name happen to be Chrys?" He asked me. I nodded, "yes sir, I'm Chrys." I said to him. "She's been calling you name. I assume you heard it and made your way here. I apologize about calling security on you. I didn't know who your were" He said to me. "I understand sir, I did come in here and scare you." I said to him. He nods, "I assume you want to know her injuries" I nodded.

"She's suffered a beating. The cut on her stomach was too close to her organ but we managed to patch it up. Some of the cuts were deep and we had to stitch them up. Her eye scars had to be stitched. As well as some of her ribs were cracked." He said to me. I growled, "what about everyone else?"

"The others you brought in? Well Ms. Ivy had three broken ribs, a fractured arm, we had to stitch her cuts. Ms. Aster suffered a broken arm and ankle, needing to stitch her cuts as well. Ms. Leandre suffered a chest wound to her stomach, her arm and leg got gashes we had to stitch. Finally, Ms. Heather's forearm has been cut off so well have to give her a prosthetic arm for her and A couple of her ribs are broken." He said to me.

I growled again, he took a step back. "Can you leave me alone with rose...?" I asked him. He nodded and left the room. I looked at Rose and rested my head beside hers. I took my jacket off. My angel wing went over Rose as protection. "I promise you, I will find ruth and make her pay" I said to her. Closing my eyes and falling asleep.
