Chapter 19: Baby Violet Pt. 2

Heather's Pov

Once we arrived at the hospital. The doctors took Chrys in but we had to wait in the waiting room including Rose. I don't know why they didn't let Rose in. Rose tapped her foot clearly nervous. "Rose, you should call Blu. Let her know about this..." I said to her. She looked at me and nodded. She got up and walked outside to make the call.

"I'll go with her" said Leandre. I nodded and she walked off. I sighed and looked around the waiting room. I hummed a little tune.

Leandre's Pov 45 minutes later

Rose finished talking to Blu and looked at me. "She'll be here soon" said Rose to me. I nodded, "sound good. Come on, Heather is probably lonely" I turned and walked inside. Rose followed me inside. We walked over to where Heather is and sat down in our seats.

"Oh wait...I should call my mom too..." Rose said. She took her phone out again and called Burnette. Heather and I looked at each other. Once she was done she looked at us. "My mom technically will be Violet's grandma too..." she said to us. We nodded understanding Rose's reasoning.

I noticed a nurse walking towards us. I nudged Rose then Heather. They saw the nurse coming towards us. "Ms. Bloom?" She asked us. "That's me..." Rose said standing up. "Come with me please." She said to Rose. Rose nodded and followed the nurse.

Rose's Pov

I followed the nurse down the hall. She stopped at one of the room doors. "Ms. Stargazer is waiting for you Ms. Bloom." She said turning to leave. She stopped then looked at me, "congratulations by the way" with that say she left. I opened the door to Chrys's hospital room.

I went inside and looked where Chrys was. "Hey detective..." she said in a tired voice. She was laying on the bed, her hair was a mess, she looked tired. Chrys was holding something in her arms. I walked over to Chrys, "Hey..." Chrys weakly smiled then looked down towards her arms. I looked as well.

In Chrys's arms was our baby girl, Little Violet. She had a tuff of blue hair with black streaks, she has my skin color. Little Violet was sleeping peacefully in Chrys's arms. "Do you want to hold her Rose...?" Asked Chrys. I looked at her worried, "I-I don't know Chrys..."

Chrys sat up carefully, "have your arms in the position I have mine in." I did as I was told and put my arms in the position Chrys's arms were. Chrys passed Violet to me. After she did she layed back. I dragged a chair over and sat in it, holding Violet.

Violet stirred in my arms. I tensed up, unsure of what to do. Violet opened her eyes, I gasped in shock. "What is it detective?" Asked Chrys. "Her eyes...." I said to Chrys. Chrys smiled a bit, "I know their beautiful" Violet's eyes were like mine but a bright lavender color.

I smiled a little, I then looked at Chrys. "They are beautiful." I said to her. I heard the door open and looked over. "Hey, can we come in?" Asked Heather to me. "Come in" said Chrys before me. Heather came in with Leandre, my mom, chrys's mom, Ivy and Aster.

Ivy and Aster stayed by the door while the others came over to us. I stood up as Heather walked to me. She spotted Violet in my arms. "Well well, she looks just like you rose." Said Heather. "Looks at her eyes, there so pretty" said Leandre. "You can hold her" said Chrys to Heather. She grinned and looked at me. I smiled and passed Violet to Heather.

"Hey little one it's your aunt Heather" said Heather to Violet. I smiled a bit and looked at Chrys. She was smiling too. Though she was really tired. "You should sleep Chrys" I said to her. She looked at me, nodded and fell asleep. Heather had passed Violet to Leandre. Leandre seemed nervous about holding Violet.

"Here let me take her" said Blu to Leandre. Leandre nods and blu took Violet. My mom looked at Violet behind her. "She's beautiful" my mom said. I soon take violet back in my arms. "Come meet your sister Ivy" said Heather to Ivy. Ivy walked over to me.

She looked at violet with a little smile. Violet was looking at ivy with curiosity. She giggles at Ivy. "She likes you Ivy" I said to her. Aster stood beside Ivy and smiled.
