Marinette flipped through the pages of her book, vigorously trying to finish it so she would know what happens. She zoned out everything else around her, or so she thought.

I light tapping noice caught her attention and she looked up from her book to notice someone breathing on her window. "What in the world.." she muttered to herself.

Marinette quickly got out of her bed and headed over only to see a heart being drawn in the now foggy spot on the glass. She squinted and turned on a light to see Chat Noir smiling on the other side of the window. Marinette smiled and rolled her eyes softly before breathing on the glass and writing 'Hi' on it with a giggle. Chat grinned softly and pointed up, motioned towards where he balcony was. Marinette looked over to the small trap door that separated her room from the balcony and waved to Chat before heading up.

She reached up and unlatched the door and shivered as a gust of cold wind came in. Chat quickly tumbled in and landed on her bed conveniently. "Oh, comfy."

"And dirty. You dragged in the rain." She giggled softly and poked his wet arm while rolling her eyes. "Off the bed, you're gonna make it soaked."

"Oops, sorry," he gave her an apologetic smile and hopped off, landing gracefully on the floor. Marinette smiled at him amusingly but stayed on her bed.

"So why did you come here?"

He shrugged and looked around. "I didn't wanna go home and I know you're cool with a superhero hanging out with you so I figured why not?" He looked around her room and paused when he saw the posters of Adrien. "Fancy this guy or something?"

Marinette blushed and shrugged softly. "Kind of. I think he just likes me as a friend though."

"You're obsessed," he laughed softly and saw it was even her home screen on her computer.

Marinette frowned and crossed her arms. "Am not."

"Are so," he said back and snickered.

"I'll kick you out if I have to," she threatened. She climbed down the steps and stood with her arms crossed. Marinette was honestly just in the mood to finish her book, but not she kind of felt bad if she were to kick him out.

Chat moved closer to the window and sighed. "Looks like I might actually be staying here a lot longer than I thought I was."

Marinette looked out the window as well and noticed it had begun snowing.

"Oh," she said and frowned. "But what happens when you have to detransform?"

"You can look away so you won't be blinded by my pure awesomeness?" He winked at her and Marinette sighed. Then she remembered she wasn't Ladybug. Ladybug sighs, normal girls swoon.

"Oh Chat!" She mused. "You? Staying the night? That's amazing news!" It was overly dramatic and fake, but Chat Noir was so self centered that he didn't notice one bit.

"Many girls would love to be where you are right now, little lady." He winked again and ventured off to look at her sewing area. Marinette rolled her eyes but smiled regardless. She couldn't deny that the little kitty made her smile all the time.

"Didn't know you were a fan," he held up the Chat Noir doll and the Ladybug doll with a grin. He payed especially good attention towards the Chat Noir doll, and smiled in adoration.

"You can say that," she smiled and moved over to look at the dolls as well. She picked up the Lady Wifi doll and remembered the day her and Chat Noir has to stop Alya from exposing them. That was awful.

Chat's ring beeped and he looked at it in slight panic. "I might need to go soon." He frowned and looked at Marinette. "It's a shame. You're pretty cool to hang out with Marinette." He smiled a genuine smile at her, which made her blush in return.

"Oh, thanks," she wasn't expecting him to say something like that. Especially when he barely hung out with her in the first place.

"Wish me luck," he said, hopping up to go back out.

"You still have my doll," Marinette pointed out and gestured to his hand.

Chat looked down and frowned softly. "Can I keep it? Well, can I at least keep the ladybug one? I'll let you keep the one of me so you can cuddle it at night," he snickered a bit and tossed her the doll, but waited to see if he could take him the Ladybug one.

"Nope, sorry to disappoint you but I'll be keeping them all." She smiled innocently and set the doll carefully back on her desk with the others.

Chat Noir pouted but blew a kiss to her in goodbye. "See you later little lady," he winked and saluted her before heading out and disappearing into the night.

authors note:

Didn't like that one as much lol. I dunno, it was just something to post I guess. Still kinda long though. I had a lot of different ideas for this one actually. At first I wanted them to be snowed in and make it a reveal scene, and then I wanted to bring in the book and have her read Chat to sleep, and then I ended up going with the dolls because I felt like it was the best bet. Hahaha I dunno or it could've been the worst choice. Who knows?

Lots of love,
Mercay 💕
