He was on stage

They were smiling

For different reasons

But they were happy.

The song ended

And they all bowed

Before he stopped the show

And saw her.

His already present smile

Doubled in size

and he ran off stage

To grab her in his arms.

"Jade!" He screamed and picked her up.

Kissing her lips, cheek

Anything he could just to hold her

for moments longer.

"I can't believe you're here."

He sighs and sets her down

Back on the ground

But only now does he notice

That her smile has faded

And she looks green.

She runs away quickly

He followes after her

Confused

And she stops at a trashcan

And throws up.
