I sat at my desk, looking over the files. I wanted to find out the easiest target. It was quite hard since they're all rich or some shit. I could only find the hardest one, but he was in Canada. Isn't everyone in Canada nice though? I kept shuffling through the folders, looking to find the easiest ones. Why was this so hard? I looked around to try and find something to entertain myself. There was another folder almost hanging off the edge of the table. I grabbed it, seeing if I've looked at it yet. I opened it and felt as if I were going to cry. The picture in there was someone I wouldn't expect. There, right in front of me was a picture of Lu Han. I held tight to the folder, I grew a connection with Lu Han, after the marriage, we became close. He's the easiest target, but I couldn't kill him. I put the folder in a drawer and ran out of the room.
"Where are you going?" A voice said as I ran across the room. I stood still and looked up. Kyuhyun was sitting at the dinning table sipping his coffee.
"I-I'm not going anywhere..." I said as I tried to leave the house.
"It's late you know. It's almost three in the morning." he said as he took another sip of coffee. I nodded and he continued staring at me. I didn't know how to respond to him, I just stood there and stayed in his sight.
"Is there something you need?" he asked. I nodded and walked over to him. I walked behind him and wrapped my arms around his chest, resting my head on his shoulders.
"I love you, you know that, right?" I whispered.
"Well obviously, if you didn't love me then why did we get married?" he laughed at what he said and immediately stopped. I kissed his head and he turned and looked at me.
"What's wrong?" he said.
"I have to leave for a bit, make sure Sun Hi is okay, alright?" I said.
"Where are you going?" he asked quietly.
"I have to go to Korea. Can't explain." I whispered back. I tried to walk away but he grabbed my hand, causing me to stop. I stood there for a bit, our fingers intertwined.
"Why do you have to go?" He asked, not making eye contact with me.
"I have business there." I whispered. He stayed silent for a bit.
"Why are you back in the killing business? Doesn't it bother you that you're killing innocent people?" he asked.
"They're not innocent."
"What did they do to you? You're just killing people you don't know and it's like you have no heart." he finally looked at me and our eyes locked. I could see the disappointment in his eyes.
"What do you even get from this? Do yet pay you? You never told me of this money. This isn't the Sungmin I know." I stared at him and he slowly let go of my hand. I then walked towards the front door and got into my car. I felt bad that I was just leaving like this, but I have to get this done or my family will be endangered. My phone started ringing. I assumed that it was Kyuhyun calling me back so I won't leave, or that random guy who kept calling me for these 'jobs.' To my surprise, it was Oh Sehun, Our old neighbor.
"Hello?"
{Hey, you're in China, right?}
"Yeah, why?"
{We're in Beijing right now! Where are you?}
"Beijing, do you need me to pick you up from wherever you are?"
{Yeah, we are at the airport. Come pick us up?}
"On my way"
I hung up and started the car. Making me pick them up at three in the morning, that's just fantastic. Just my luck though, Luhan is going to be near me. It's going to be very devastating for Sehun. It was hard to think of killing the sweet kid. Could I try and avoid this?
I drove towards the airport and waited for Sehun and Luhan. After about a hour, they showed up in front of me.
"How are you guys?" I asked them, trying to seem happy.
"We're well. Do you think you could drive us to our hotel? I don't want to be a burden or anything." Sehun said quietly.
"No, no, no, you're not a burden. I'll take you. Just type the address in the GPS and we can get going."
The three of us sat in the car. During the car ride, Luhan was teaching Sehun some Chinese words. Seeing Sehun and Luhan smiling and being happy together made me feel sad about how I have to get rid of Lu. He was so nice, what could he have possibly done? I stopped at the red light and looked at the empty passenger seat. A folder was there. I don't recall putting them in here. I picked it up and opened it. It was Luhans folder. I went to the last sheet to where it supposedly said what the persons crime was. It couldn't possible be terrible. I bet it was something like stealing. I laughed at the thought. I looked at the paper and froze
Crime: Murder.
Evidence: Has admitted the crime.
Victim(s): co-workers and boss; 27 people.
